Sorry i haven't updated in week or so, been getting exam results and sorting out University but now the updates should be coming quicker. This update is a small one that just fixes more things. Primarily when you place rune essence into an altar, if you log out and relog the quantity of essence is saved so you can continue and it isn't lost.
There is currently an overhaul going on with this mod, I have had a change of heart. I do not feel like copying Runescape directly and would rather take inspiration from it and create my own magic based mod, (possible Alchemy inbound as well). The current magic system with the rune crafting and staves + spells will stay the same, I would love people to test the magic system part out and list spell ideas in the comments, because sometimes as a programmer we are not always the best at coming up with creative ideas. Metals will still be in the mod but are currently being put on hold, and will most likely be incorporated with the magic very closely (crafting magic weapons).
I probably won't be able to fix that error cause I assume you are using 1.7.10, the reason there haven't been any updates recently is because I'm overhauling to 1.8. I'll have a look in the morning if I can sort it though
Have been updating every other week, I have been forgetting to post on here.
At the moment there is no major new features, just a lot of refinement and fixing.
The modpack doesn't crash servers when launched althought the experience system is broken in multiplayer.
Looking at the numerous Runescape themed mods and plugins that have been started or developed since began this I am considering deviating from an all out Runescape clone. If people have suggestions for where I could take the mod they would be greatly appreciated, if you make what players want you know they'll like it.
