An update about the development schedule:
This coming weekend marks the beginning of having some free time again, and more importantly enough free time to resume work on ThE. My current short term goal is to clean up a few things, and push out a solid beta for AE2 RV2's stable release.
After that I am going to address the backlog of bugs & feature requests, get the basic power-generation system put into place, and push as hard as I can to get a stable 1.0 release by the one year anniversary.
As always, if you have any suggestions feel free to drop them here, or leave a feature request on the github, and thanks for playing ^.^
Suggestion: give essentia export buses an option to continue exporting into a void jar once it's full. At the moment there is no option to void excess essentia once it's in the system.
Suggestion: make Thaumic Energistic's essentia buses work with Technomancy's quantum jar. So far they don't.
Bugfix: at the moment, if you access your essentia storage from a subnetwork, the network element in the subnetwork does not update the contents it shows ever after placement. So for instance, if you you have 245 Aer in storage and place an essentia terminal in a subnetwork, it will correctly show those 245 Aer, but if you change the amount stored, the terminal on the subnetwork will still list 245, forever until you remove and replace it. This may be an interface problem since Extra Cells has the same bug.

Just added the export bus + void jar patch, you will see it in the next release.
The buses have a whitelist of things they are allowed to work with so I will grab Technomancy and see if I can add support.
I have been battling the sync-bug, as I call it, with subnets for months now, and from what I can tell:
* It only effects passive devices, such as terminals
* Export/Import operations seem to be unphased by it
* If their is a high amount of activity on the subnet, the terminals will randomly start updating normally.
Suggestion (if it does not exist yet): An Essentia Annihilation Plane. You craft it with a TC4 Alchemical Furnace in the recipe and it breaks every block placed in front of it down into its essentia that it stores in the AE ThE network. If you think that this is OP, then maybe the idea it could be nerfed a bit.
While the idea itself isn't too unballanced, implementing it as an annihilation plane would be overkill. If I do decide to implement a furnace replacement it would have the following constraints:
* Full block device with basic furnace slot
* Draws power from the network to melt-down items
* Auto-exports generated essentia into network if there is room.
* Conversion rate would be less than that of the Advanced Alchemical Furnace, even with acceleration cards.
* If possible: internal essentia storage can be drained via Golem and tubes.
* Maybe: Upgrade recipe using the A.A.F. blocks for much faster conversion rates.
That's is actually what I have been working on for the past few days. In the upcoming update there will be the Essentia Storage Monitor. I will post some screenshots later tonight.
Is there any means to power the system with thaumcraft? Some sort of way to fuel it with say, just potentia essentia or ignis vis?
And does the golem strength / speed matter at all in terms of the thaumium gearbox?
The power system is currently on hold. I will see how much free time my summer semester gives me and decide on which features take priority as there are still a quite few things to get done before I push the 1.0 release.
The strength & speed of a golem do not impact the thaumium gearbox. Afaik speed only effects movement speed, however I could see strength being taken into consideration. I will put it on the maybe list.
Not that its always trivial to make the required singularity, largely depends on your modpack, but the Quantum Network Bridge from AE allows you to wirelessly extend your network, even across dimensions.
Before I make further plans: do Thaumic Energistics' essentia storage buses work with Thaumix Exploration's Oblivion Jar? That would be a good way to void excess essentia without having to deal with it on an aspect-by-aspect basis: store your essentia on storage cells dedicated to one aspect, point an essentia storage bus at an oblivion jar and set the priority to -10: anything for which is there is no space left on the storage disks will get voided.
(I believe the report I made earlier on problems with Technomancy's quantum jar may actually have been about the oblivion jar - I don't recall)

Think I have about figured out how to do full P2P with vis.
This is awesome.
I just tested with Technomancy 0.10.h: The import, export, and storage buses all work with the quantum jar.

The Arcane Crafting Terminal is getting a lot of love in the next update.
Oh wow, that looks absolutely delightful. Nice work!
Can you add essentia mirrors to essentia export/import busses?
Essentia mirrors can not transport the liquid form of essentia, which is why you can't attach essentia tubes to them. So unfortunately no.
can you view your aspects using storage monitors

Aww u cant? Hmm.... maybe u can add an item?
ok do you know when the update is avalable

The last two upgrades are really nice. I'll have to try and upgrade Thaumic Energistics in my modpack before the modpack authors do....
