AP hasn't attempted it because there had already been a mod that added NEI compatability for MF. That mod is very outdated, and it doesn't seem ilke it will ever be updated in the future.

forged thaumium weapons and armor for one, better enchantes and it can take the repair enchant. And I have a fun idea, shards in weapons and tools to cause differnt effects. like fire, lightening, slowing em, more push back, weakness. just a few ideas.

Hmmm, having not looked into any documentation on the NEI api, I cannot decipher the purpose of a lot of this code, but it should prove useful in time.

A fine idea, I've adjusted the stone knife, and the stone katana to include a sharp stone.
Though, I now realise that the balkon knife is almost identical to the MF primitive knife now. I'll have to compare their relative usages to determine if it needs a more expensive recipe, or if it a worthless duplicate that should be removed.
Ok, I've decided I'll add another string/vine/tendon to the balkon knives, that, alongside the increased expense of the haft should make the slight damage increase and the ability to throw relatively balanced.
there might be a tailor recipe as well as a crafting recipe. I disabled the crafting recipe with another mod, and i was able to craft them on tailor benches

What would you have me do? Change the camel pack recipe? That seems to be about all there is to be done.
That's one thing, but mostly I think it would be a good idea to like... Make the smoke from furnaces and bloomeries decrease air quality.
That would be very complex when you consider how MF's chimneys work.
