Alright, I installed Extra Utilities onto my test server, fixed some problems, and now it seems to be working. It will take a bit for the file to be approved on Curse and then you can download it from the OP. (Again, please report if you run into more problems. Sorry for the inconvenience!)
Version 0.3 is now available. Now included are two forms of "wireless redstone": The basic resonating redcrystal, for short distances, and mercurial redcrystal which lets you send signals through linked magic mirrors.
I'm trying to update the addon frequently (so far, not counting bug fix patches, I've averaged one release per week) but don't expect a new version this week. I've got other things going on. Besides, you got two last week. But I'll pick it up again next week, so what would you like to see?
I've got a huge text file with all sorts of ideas, but here are some of the short-term goals:
Improved essentia supply automation (get just the right things to your alchemical furnace to keep your jars full -- without ComputerCraft!*)
Advanced golem disabling/enabling (think of it like a golem fetter but with filters and an area of effect - an idea I had before the fetters came out but since they're here, I may as well base it on them)
More item logistics, such as item-specific inventory reading (not just redstone-comparator-style "how full is it", but trigger based on actual item counts)
Area-wide automated shearing (works on sheep as well as any block that can be sheared -- leaves, grass, etc.)
Lava/liquid transport (not pipes - more like marking a location and then summoning it)
Or something else? Suggestions are welcome.
* Don't get me wrong: ComputerCraft is awesome. But it's not very "magicky" at all, people like me who code for fun are rare (and I don't like doing it all the time!), and it's kind of weird effectively copy/pasting others' code if you can't or don't want to write your own.
I'd like a separate Creative tab once it gets a few more items, and a use for the Crystalline Brains. They're just way too cool not to use for something. I like the idea of more golem control, too.
honestly at first i really only wanted the mod for the chests but i've played a bit more with the rest of the mod and im more open to any new ideas you come up with for a more Magic/logistical oriented mod.
There is another guy with similar intentions to you T145's honestly you should ask him about his mod Magistics,
he's looking to do some interesting things with chests,like hungary chest varients of Thermal expansion and Ironchest chests
also while im on the topic of chests remember how i asked for double chest varients for your chests it was mostly because Magistics will be getting doublechest varients of the hungry chests so that it would blend well with thuamcraft and vannilla
Also had another idea, a focci that you can bind to an inventory and access it from anywhere

Well, related to hungry chest variants but not exactly the same thing, one thing I hadn't mentioned that's on my list is the Hungry Maw, which is basically something you attach to the side of another block that has an inventory (be it a chest or whatever else). It then acts like the hungry chest in that it puts things that land on it inside the inventory. I also have a variant I'm calling the Finical Maw which has a filter.

oh i like this idea and am looking forward to it :3 and yeah T145 did have plans for brining back some of the older things like the runes from thuamcraft 2 as well as his oen take on som of the older functions like infusers and the golum table, ive even asked him if it was possible to make more accessories for golems :L oh and it appears he'll be travelling sometime in the near future so im a little unsure what his current plans are, i'd still have a chat with him he's a pretty chill dude
So remember 13 hours ago when I said I wasn't going to release anything this week? I lied. Well, I guess it's not that much of a lie since I was referring to new content. Anyway, a new bug fix has been uploaded. Fixes a bug with the Vis Reader (and possibly some other things) not outputting a redstone signal properly... which was working fine, but I broke it in v0.3. Oops.

Going pretty well now that I finally wrapped up v0.4. Once the download is available, I'll edit the OP to indicate what's new.
I'm hoping TC for 1.7.10 is released soon, as well. The good news is that Automagy should already theoretically work fine with 1.7.10 once TC does (barring some big change to a part of TC it relies on), so I don't think you'll have to wait on me -- though I'm sure the new stuff Azanor's got will just inspire more features for my to do list.
having problems making a hungry mouth, i've unlocked the research (using the cheat sheet) and follow the instructions (put down hungry chest, put obsidian on top, three obsidian on sides,then right click top block with wand equipped with portable hole) and the obsidian just disappears for a bit. any idea if i'm doing something wrong?
All four obsidian blocks are directly next to the hungry chest? I've tested it in both single player and on a dedicated server. It should work provided you're using a wand with the portable hole focus, right-click obsidian that's directly above the hungry chest, and have the research unlocked.
If you're running a server, both server and client have the latest version, right?
Edit: Also, make sure it's a hungry chest (not a greedy or eager one) and that you're using vanilla obsidian blocks, not Thaumcraft's obsidian tiles or totems etc.

Tested it out and there appears to be a conflict with Forbidden Magic. Could you make a copy of your other world, disable FM (and only FM) on that copy, and try it like that? Let me know the result.
New in Version 0.5 is the Golemic Inhibitor which allows redstone-toggleable golems, like a golem fetter on steroids. It covers an area and can be linked to specific golems so only they are affected (or only they are not affected).

Maybe. It's more likely that I'd just make a magical upgrade to the chest that lets it hold more, though.
Hmm, I hadn't considered that. What would someone need to disable, though? Things should be quite balanced.
