In addition to the new realm, we plan to add our own rendition of light cycles, identity discs, etc. from the tron series into minecraft. The grid will also be inhabited by Programs, ISOs, and the rare User.

Mechanics:
Energy System:
The Baton and Energinium Armor has an internal energy level. Once this reaches 0 the item willl no longer work. To refill either place in a crafting table with a liquid energy bucket. This will refill the item 100 Energy bytes. The energy level can be upgraded to larger values using size upgrades.
Upgrade/Module system:
Both Armor and Baton can be upgraded to higher levels. Simply craft the corresponding upgrade and place it in a crafting table to upgrade the item.
In addition, the baton will need modules added to it to have tools other than just a pickaxe (previously created worlds will be grandfathered in). The proccess is the same as the upgrade proccess. Just place the Baton in the crafting table with the module you would like to add.
Resources:
Liquid Energy:
This mysterious liquid pulses with energy. It is only found in caves underground. It can be picked up in a bucket.
Energinum Ore:
It can be mined with a stone pick, and pulses with a small amount of energy similar to Liquid energy. It can be smelted into ingots, and its crystalline structure makes you think it could be crafted into powerful tools and armor.
Items:
Liquid Energy Bucket:
A bucket of Liquid Energy can be used to craft a Baton and an Identity Disc.
Energinum Ingot:
Smelted from Energinium Ore, these ingots can be used in various crafting recipes.
Identity Disc:
An identity Disc is a ranged weapon. It can be bound to the player by shift-right clicking after it is crafted only the player it is bound to can use it. It can be thrown at enemies to deal 3.5 hearts of damage. It will return to the player's hand after impacting and entity or a solid block.
Baton:
A Baton is a multitool. It can be bonded to the player by shift-right clicking, only the player it is bound to can use it. It has six modes. Baton Mode:
Normal Mode is the default mode. It does no damage.
Sword Mode:
Sword mode can be obtained by right clicking while the baton is in hand. It is a melee weapon that deals 4 hearts of damage.
Pickaxe Mode
In this mode the Baton functions like an Iron Pickaxe, without the worry of durability.
Shovel Mode Axe Mode
In this mode the Baton functions as an Iron Axe
Hoe Mode
In this function the Baton acts as an Iron hoe.
Energinium Armor:
Helmet Chestplate Leggings Boots
Energinium Armor starts out equivalent to leather armor but can be upgraded to be as powerful as diamond armor.

Yeah, one thing that I'd suggest is having a couple screenshots up, they make the page more attractive to new people who've never seen it. It'll look more professional, as well as get you more downloads!
Another thing, you may want to put this in the WIP mods section..? I'm not exactly sure. I see you're in Alpha with stuff you're planning to add. I mean I do often see larger mods with Betas up for community bug testing, but these are usually new updates for a mod with a polished/complete project to download on the same page :/ I'm only suggesting this because other people might be less kind in mentioning that your mod isn't finished. It does look very promising though! You'll also get some great feedback from the peeps over there too, they're doing the same thing you are.
Just some suggestions, hope to see the finished product!

Here do a couple of things for me:
Redownload my mod, something may have gone corrupt when you downloaded it.
Try updating to the latest forge to see if that resolves the problem.
If neither of those work, give me a detailed description of the process you are using to install my mod, and a list of all the mods you are using.Also could you post the fml-client-latest log? Its found under the logs folder in your minecraft install. Finally, what java version are you using. I see you are using java 6, Update to java 7 and try installing again.
Version 2.0a is now released! 4 modes were added to the Baton and some minor tweaks were made. For a more detailed description of the update check the changelog in the original post! I hope everyone updates to this version and gets to playing with the new update! Any bugs you find can be posted here.

Thanks for the interest! Currently the mod is small and My brother and I have it under control, once the mod enters beta and we add the grid, then we might need some help, but not at the moment.
Are the Identity Discs going to get a fancy model? I know someone who could make a good one. They could also make a light bike model, if you wanted them to.
Yes! That is currently being worked on right now, we want to make sure each update has some new features since this is still a small mod. Check back in the next couple of days and we'll post when we put a new update out!
Hey I've been looking at this and want to back you in doing this! but I have a suggestion: the baton should be more expensive too make because it has different modes and/or give it a durability so it runs out. but aside from that great job and hope you keep doing this mod.
That's already in the works! We're going to add our own ore and make it an upgrade system to get all the features of the baton rather than having them all right away, but we wanted to get all the features working correctly first!
As a side note, sorry development has been a little slow recently! School has just started and we have gotten really busy preparing during the last few weeks. Once we settle into our schedule and aren't so busy development will pick up again. Thank you for your patience!

Finally, what java version are you using.I see you are using java 6, Update to java 7 and try installing again.IMPORTANT EDIT: If updating from a world that has had this mod installed previously, you WILL have to get a new identity disc and/or baton. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the Items were both majorly updated and will break your save if you do not do so.
Thanks for the interest! Currently the mod is small and My brother and I have it under control, once the mod enters beta and we add the grid, then we might need some help, but not at the moment.

That's already in the works! We're going to add our own ore and make it an upgrade system to get all the features of the baton rather than having them all right away, but we wanted to get all the features working correctly first!
