Ugh, that's unfortunate. Not likely I can convince the other players to go through the trouble of upgrading, given that a bunch of the mods haven't/won't be moving to 1.10.
Ah well, guess I'm out of luck. Thanks for the clarification!
Also, do these issues extend to the bound blood drop? I was having difficulty getting that to work as well.

Yes, since the bound blood drop also uses fluids internally.
I strongly encourage you to update to, because it's very likely that this won't be the only problem you'll encounter, and there's no one around anymore to fix them.
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
The mod Ice & Fire may present another unique challenge for the Spirit Machine. Much as the floating Primordial Pearls of Thaumcraft did before this mod presents a unique way to grant you your mob loot. When a dragon from Ice & Fire dies it doesn't drop its loot immediately but instead forms a corpse that you click to get your items. This works well to prevent your items from being destroyed by environmental hazards the dragon leaves in its wake, but it also means the items may not register as drop in the Spirit Machine. You may need to talk to the modding crew or come up with a workaround for this one. If regular is Vanilla then what flavor is your Minecraft?

Looking at the mod's thread, I think it would not be at all unreasonable to disallow the dragons from being incarnated or autokilled by Evilcraft's machines.

I had been planning to use the Obscured Glass in tandem with the Vampirism mod to avoid sunlight and still be able to see the sky. However, it seems that for some reason in my game (using the most recent version of the Mech and Magic pack) Obscured Glass is opaque and not see through. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix? And if not, is this the place to make a bug report?
And again there are new squeezers that might be considered for becoming alternative. I'm pretty sure Immersive Engineering has one now. I suddenly had an interesting idea of how to get the Presser from Pam's Harvestcraft to work with this: It could output a Condensed Blood item.

An interesting new mod called Dissolution has arrived that is trying to deal with death, ghosts, and controlling the undead. Cross-mod compatibility could be very interesting. I'm really pondering what would happen if you captured a player's ghost in a Box of Eternal Closure and carried them around in a pocket dimension.

do you have an IRC or discord server? You might consider making one and, ideally, mentioning it in the thread opener, curseforge overview, and perhaps the github readme
Nope, I don't. You can find me on Discord and IRC though, do you think a standalone server would be beneficial?
quite possibly, at least if you advertise it better and pay more attention to it than Maxanier (Vampirism developer) does with his IRC channel. Biggest problem with his channel is I'm the only other user in it and he never replies, so don't do that xd
its a good mod except two things all the brooms need a broom part witch is crafted with two evil gems but it also needs a broom part to craft making all brooms uncraftable. also the dead bush recipe deletes any other items on the crafting table when created making any recipes that involve saplings uncraftable

Your item must be enchanted, just tested it, works fine for me.
Yay, 1.11.2!

Please report any issues you have here: https://github.com/CyclopsMC/EvilCraft
How do you gather blood from the undead tree?
You can only do this using Forestry's squeezer

Does this mod add a cyclops? I noticed the cyclops core thingy suggests that you have a cyclops mod.
I think a cyclops dungeon would be cool.
Cyclops.

He named it CyclopsCore because he started needing a special API for 1.8+ when Guardians were added. They look like an aquatic cyclops so it fit well.
