The bees make them themselves, actually. Both according to the wiki and according to me just letting the beebox run for about 5 minutes
Not sure if this is on your things to think about, but if possible, it'd be great to get the osmium bits (from Mekanism) allowed into the smeltery (I guess technically for that to work you need ExtraTIC installed...). I'd guess you'd probably add that when you get around to metallurgy 3 support.
I love the mod but I seem to be receiving an error between the reed crooks and the crooks from Ex Nihilo. At least I'm pretty sure thats what the error is. I'm running both the latest versions of Ex Nihilo and Ex Aliquo as far as I can tell.
I've tried redownloading both mods and installing them again to no avail.

Hey zerokyuuni If it is much to ask could we get compatability with the big reactors mod ?
Once I get the main things I want added added, I'll start looking into other stuff to add. Unless a mod gets partial, blatant support from Nihilo, then I'll flat out add the rest
Not sure if this is on your things to think about, but if possible, it'd be great to get the osmium bits (from Mekanism) allowed into the smeltery (I guess technically for that to work you need ExtraTIC installed...). I'd guess you'd probably add that when you get around to metallurgy 3 support.
Thanks. I'm seriously enjoying the mod.
On the above note, if/when Osmium gets a forge fluid version, then I'll add that since it already has support in Nihilo. That's why I didn't add that when I did the initial smeltery additions, the forge fluid. I couldn't find any reference to a fluid version
Wow I feel kind of stupid now. I had the crowley-skyblock1.26b.jar saved to my computer and I kept using that. Got the new version and it fixed it. Thanks for pointing this out to me.

When something goes wrong, you are usually left feeling like an idiot. I have one too many experiences with this myself.
Thaumcraft Integration suggestion: Any chance of making mana beans available either through sieving or alchemy?
I know I can get them by convincing a pech to spawn and trade, but you could say the same about the saplings, at which point the whole interesting buildup to those is kind of pointless.

You raise some good points, but what is the difference between mana beans and saplings? it's quite simple, really. Mana beans are completely optional. You don't need them for anything. Sure they help a great deal, but there is not one block or item that requires mana beans.
The saplings, however, are necessary. You need greatwood for golems and silverwood for the top-tier wand among other things. There is also the fact that silverwood saplings could be seen as a sort of bridge to the Pech. You need a magical biome for them to spawn, and the silverwood sapling creates one. Therefore, if you don't have a magical biome anywhere nearby, you can still get pech with the recipe. Otherwise, you are doomed to search about for that elusive biome, and when you find it you have to wait for a pech to show up in it, effectively halting all progression while you wait for them to spawn. If you have a silverwood sapling, you can make the biome at your base and spawn them there, so you can continue to build out your base without worrying about being too far from the magical forest. There's also the fact that mana beans need a magical forest to grow as well.
Is it possible to request a nodeless recipe for silverwood?
it would be nice to have the ability to run a skyblock world void of nodes, but the need of the Auram essence for wand caps makes a node necessary due to wisps being the only source.
Is it possible to request a nodeless recipe for silverwood?
That's a node-in-a-jar in the center of that recipe? (I've not been playing much the last few days and haven't pushed on TC as much as I intended) And here I've been thinking that silverwood is the method of *getting* nodes in ExA. I agree with Radial. I was willing at least in theory to kill mobs to get my vis until I could get silverwoods, but that seems to be a wall. Unless the rumor about the primal focus creating nodes over in the TC thread is true, but see below.
it would be nice to have the ability to run a skyblock world void of nodes, but the need of the Auram essence for wand caps makes a node necessary due to wisps being the only source.
I thought wisps, like Pech, only required hostile mob-spawning conditions in a magical biome. Although as I mentioned above, I'm concerned about the wall preventing creating my own nodes via silverwood in any case.
@Gorae above:
Mana beans aren't required, but one of mana beans or wisp farming is for salis mundus. Both require a magical biome to use effectively, unless a mana bean recipe were added which could manufacture them in some quantity. None of them requires a magical forest, there are other biomes which qualify as magical. In fact, if you have flux causes taint on, you should be able to create a tainted land for yourself and use that for your pech spawning/wisp spawning/mana bean farming. This (create tainted land pech spawner, get mana beans and farm them there prior to working on Silverwood) was my current plan to get beans going which led me to my above post, that it would be nice to have a non-Pech source of starter beans as well as trees, because the Pech route didn't feel quite right to me.
I thought wisps, like Pech, only required hostile mob-spawning conditions in a magical biome. Although as I mentioned above, I'm concerned about the wall preventing creating my own nodes via silverwood in any case.
Yeah, both recipes requires a node in a jar as the middle.
If you run a modified void flatland, you don't get magical biomes at all.
If you run a modified void flatland, you don't get magical biomes at all.
Also missing; A way to get ice/snow.
Create Tainted Land?
Wand Focus: Frost can make ice, not sure about snow. There's an alternate source for water crystals in the config if you don't have ice-forming biomes in your world.
The reason that a node is required for Silverwood infusion is due to the fact that crooks exist. They work on Silverwood trees, and I'm okay with this. You're, in essence, kick starting a node farm with another node
For mana beans, I thought they required Magical Forests to grow, which is why I left them to the pechs (or villager trading hint hint). But since they're farmable via other means, they're now available from dirt
Changelog:
Added MFR leaf and sapling composting
Feeshenanigans, which upped the Ex Nihilo version to 1.28
Growthcraft Apple Saplings exploit fixed
Had my fun with Crook names
Added a way to get Blue Slimes
Added Manabeans to dirt Sieving
Don't know if i should be happy.
On one hand, it makes the game more fun and exiting.
On the other hand, it means I now need 4 times the apples for one dirt, so my dirt production has been cut by 3/4.

Fairly sure this falls under the prevue of "Unless Ex Nihilo supports..", but it would be nice to have Sand able to be ground to dust via pulverizers, macerators, or similar contraptions. Though, I will post this on the main thread as well.

Just hoping I can get some help on this. Thanks in advance
1.27 is the latest ExNihilo. You're using 1.26b
Once I get the main things I want added added, I'll start looking into other stuff to add. Unless a mod gets partial, blatant support from Nihilo, then I'll flat out add the rest

I know I can get them by convincing a pech to spawn and trade, but you could say the same about the saplings, at which point the whole interesting buildup to those is kind of pointless.
There's also the fact that mana beans need a magical forest to grow as well.

it would be nice to have the ability to run a skyblock world void of nodes, but the need of the Auram essence for wand caps makes a node necessary due to wisps being the only source.
Or maybe a way to combine essences...
I thought wisps, like Pech, only required hostile mob-spawning conditions in a magical biome. Although as I mentioned above, I'm concerned about the wall preventing creating my own nodes via silverwood in any case.
@Gorae above:
Yeah, both recipes requires a node in a jar as the middle.
If you run a modified void flatland, you don't get magical biomes at all.
Also missing; A way to get ice/snow.
Create Tainted Land?
Wand Focus: Frost can make ice, not sure about snow. There's an alternate source for water crystals in the config if you don't have ice-forming biomes in your world.
For mana beans, I thought they required Magical Forests to grow, which is why I left them to the pechs (or villager trading hint hint). But since they're farmable via other means, they're now available from dirt

Don't know if i should be happy.
On one hand, it makes the game more fun and exiting.
On the other hand, it means I now need 4 times the apples for one dirt, so my dirt production has been cut by 3/4.
Damnit! I'm always forgetting to change that before release.
