I'm having lots of trouble surviving, I can't seem to find any loots or structures. And when ever you drop an item the model is invisible. Another thing, why is the surface level so high? It's at like 200 block height, was that intended?

You didn't install it correctly first of all. Second there is no loot because we didn't add random structures yet, It's an alpha pre-release. You didn't add the classes right. You're suposed to install forge, then the dayz mod. That's why you are having rendering problems And the surface level should be around 65. Definitely not 200.

am I suppose to add the classes in some order? I just dragged all of them into the .jar. Second, I was reporting a bug, I thought it might help in developing

The classes in the "minecraft" folder in the .zip you downloaded go into the .jar. The zip that was in the .zip you downloaded goes into your mods folder.

You also need to install minecraft forge first, then install the dayz classes. Once I get the modpack done there should be no installation complications
We were planning on just having our own launcher that downloads, installs, and updates the mod automatically. But the guy that was doing it quit the project and bailed on us.

Would've been cool to have a launcher. Maybe the guy from zombie craft can help you in that.
Nope! Just heavily being worked on We plan re coding everything and making the mod 100x better than it was. We hope to get a lot of hype for the new version because it's going to be really awesome

I see the problem. It's an ID conflict with the backpacks. I'll put a download to a patch as soon as I change a couple things to the mod
