This mod is in very, very, VERY, early development stage. Stuff will be changing often and internal testing is minimal. There will be backwards incompatible changes. Do not use in your serious worlds, unless you have good backups or didn't like that world anyway.
Also unlike the name implies there's nothing related to mining implemented right now. Did I say it's in very early development?

What's currently in
Turbine generator
A multiblock machine that produces EU/MJ from BC fuel.
Needs a Turbine Controller and at least 1 turbine to operate.
Can have up to 50 turbines attached (each producing 10 MJ/t)
Can have up to 6 output modules attached
BC and RF outputs can emit from all faces as much as the receiver can take
IC2 outputs emit from a single face up to 128/512/2048 MJ/t (depending on tier)
Can have up to 5 fluid input modules attached
Can have up to 10 fuel tanks attached (each holds 16 buckets)
Can have up to 10 power capacitors attached (each stores 500 kMJ)

Known issues
MJ output modules will not detect a valid output unless a block update happens (happens with EnderIO conduits)
AO Lighting on multiblock machines can sometimes be a bit off, unsure if it's minecraft being minecraft or it's something wrong with my code.

The mod is licensed under the MMPL-1.0, the source code is available on GitHub.
While technically you can include it in modpacks, you probably shouldn't (unless you hate your users).
Sounds like a really interesting mod from what i've heard so far. a multiblock way to generate multiple forms of power is a very interesting concept. if anything i would get it purely for that reason.
Anyway due to the name im guessing that it means bedrock will be lowered further below ground and there will be a lot more ores that do awesome stuff, so im just going to rattle off some ideas here and you tell me if they're good or not.

Compressed Iron - used in crafting recipes for machines and when used to make tools it has twice the durability of regular iron.
Dewium [a play on your username and uranium] - A highly volatile substance that requires silk touch to mine or a specialised machine, it can be used to create multiblock nuclear reactors that generate giant amounts of power.
Endium - can be used in recipes requiring enderpearls rather than using enderpearls. Used for more advanced recipes

A.V.S.D [Automated Vertical Shaft Driller] - Conveniently diggs down to bedrock for you, conveniently placing a ladder behind it. Stops when it hits lava and returns to its previous position for easy repositioning. Allows you to choose how big the hole is.
Lava Boat - A boat that can cross lava.

Lava Lake - A giant underground lake of lava, very deep as well
Crystal Cave - EXTREMELY RARE, small pocket of empty space where there are plenty of DIAMONDS. But usually includes a spawner with come wierd mob to ruin your day

Diamond Fiend - A diamond loving psycho found only in crystal caves that has a lot of health and a lot of armor and a lot of damage. [Could Be considered a boss?]

Tree's that you can co;lect and bring to the surface. Each more mushrooms can be enabled if forestry is installed. Each mushroom tree can do some pretty cool things. such as right clicking on one with a bowl gives you mushroom stew, and another can be turned to a potent liquid that can be used by buildcraft engines or any other part of the mod as a fuel source.
OH and a plugin for forestry that places bees that live deep underground that do very unique things.
My main idea for the mod is to have machines that mine BELOW bedrock. Think MFR laser, but more complicated
I'm not going to change the world height or anything like that, the "area" below bedrock will be simulated by some math done by the machines, it will not physically exist in the world and will not be directly accessible to the player.
There will be significant processing involved and some form of a tech tree with materials from one tier being required to advance to the next one.
For example, with machines you can build from vanilla minecraft materials you can drill and mine some mineral [insert good mineral name here], there will be a machine it can be separates it into hematite (a.k.a iron ore) and some nickel-containing mineral [insert another name here]. Those can be processed using smelting and chemical reduction into pure iron and nickel which can then be smelted into nickel-steel that is much harder and can be used to build stronger machines that can dig deeper and mine other minerals.
There will be options of interaction with other mods where feasible, so for example that nickel can also be used in TE (ferrous ore = nickel) and if you have tons of nickel from (for example) gregtech, you can skip the first tier and build stronger machines right away.
There will also be some form of prospecting and resource distribution, so for example one are of the world has very rich iron deposits while another is rich in oil (that you can drill and extract with some other machine).
There probably won't be any worldgen involved, so that you can easily add the mod to any world. All materials used will either come from vanilla minecraft or be generated from mining.
The name, for those interested, is "borrowed" from EVE Online, and might get changed before release (to increase search-ability and decrease chances of being sued by CCP)

Edit: Just tried it and I like it! I use MCI Craft and Big Reactors and I like this mod better. It works perfect (I have 93 mods installed) with absolutely no bugs. Keep up the good work!

I'm currently running a setup with 45 Ender IO capacitor cells for a total of 21,000,000 MJ's AND a setup with 4 MFSU's that charge rather fast. I have eight 50 turbine multiblock generators to output this power.
I haven't checked deepcore out yet. But seeing Canisters being able to hold 64 buckets worth of fluid I'd suggest make them either extremly expensive, or "nerf" them down in terms of volume.
Most likely people using deepcore will be using other magic/tech mod and there's a pretty solid chance that those mods have tanks as well. They usually are way, way below your limit. Now if canisters are 64 buckets and cheap to make, nobody will use other mod's tanks.

The canisters don't function like tanks, you can't place them directly in the world. It's mostly a convenience item for clearing spills and early-game gathering of fluid resources. Also there are similar sized containers in multiple mods - TE has 64 bucket tanks (but they do cost a fortune), extra utilities drums are 256 buckets and cheap, etc.

Spent the last few days figuring out the math behind resource distribution, after some experiments with Perlin Noise (or a rather poor implementation of it by me i guess, :P) i switched to a public domain implementation Simplex Noise. This is pretty similar to how minecraft generates terrain actually...
Here are some example maps i've made while experimenting with the numbers. Every pixel is a minecraft chunk (so the map is 1000x1000 chunks) with brightness indicating resource avaiability.
I will probably play with it a bit more, i want to have the option to use multiple different noise frequencies for every layer, instead of simple octaves - it should make it possible to generate even crazier distributions
In other news the scanner now has an (untextered) GUI and an internal inventory (where you will be putting scanning modules for different resources and upgrades) and has all the client/server stuff in place (so the map is generated on the server and every player gets only the chunks he needs to see when he has a scanner active)
Version 9 crashes. Went from version 7 to 9, 7 worked good. Tried deleting config, didn't help.

The name of the mod definitely caught my interest. I hope you'll still consider a sub-bedrock dimension at some point. I really like your idea of composite ores, too.
If I could contribute an idea, maybe you could add plenty of items and machines that have to deal with pressure and heat? For example, fossils, coal, gems, oil... uh, neutronium...
I haven't seen a mod focus on the space below bedrock, so this is definitely a very unique and welcome idea for a mod!
I have also disabled the buggy chunk based data storage for now (as it's unused by current mechanics) which should significantly reduce chances of save corruption and chunk resets (chances of kitten being murdered and/or pizza being eaten might or might not be affected)
My next step will be adding actual machines that can dig down to those resources and extract them, stay tuned
Stuff will be changing often and internal testing is minimal.
There will be backwards incompatible changes.
Do not use in your serious worlds, unless you have good backups or didn't like that world anyway.
Also unlike the name implies there's nothing related to mining implemented right now. Did I say it's in very early development?

Anyway due to the name im guessing that it means bedrock will be lowered further below ground and there will be a lot more ores that do awesome stuff, so im just going to rattle off some ideas here and you tell me if they're good or not.
[b]Ores[/b]
Compressed Iron - used in crafting recipes for machines and when used to make tools it has twice the durability of regular iron.
Dewium [a play on your username and uranium] - A highly volatile substance that requires silk touch to mine or a specialised machine, it can be used to create multiblock nuclear reactors that generate giant amounts of power.
Endium - can be used in recipes requiring enderpearls rather than using enderpearls. Used for more advanced recipes
[b]Vehicals[/b]
A.V.S.D [Automated Vertical Shaft Driller] - Conveniently diggs down to bedrock for you, conveniently placing a ladder behind it. Stops when it hits lava and returns to its previous position for easy repositioning. Allows you to choose how big the hole is.
Lava Boat - A boat that can cross lava.
[b]Underground Biomes[/b]
Lava Lake - A giant underground lake of lava, very deep as well
Crystal Cave - EXTREMELY RARE, small pocket of empty space where there are plenty of DIAMONDS. But usually includes a spawner with come wierd mob to ruin your day

Mole Villagers - Blind NPC's you can trade with in big underground villages.
Diamond Fiend - A diamond loving psycho found only in crystal caves that has a lot of health and a lot of armor and a lot of damage. [Could Be considered a boss?]
[b]Mushroom Trees[b/]
Tree's that you can co;lect and bring to the surface. Each more mushrooms can be enabled if forestry is installed. Each mushroom tree can do some pretty cool things. such as right clicking on one with a bowl gives you mushroom stew, and another can be turned to a potent liquid that can be used by buildcraft engines or any other part of the mod as a fuel source.
OH and a plugin for forestry that places bees that live deep underground that do very unique things.
I'm not going to change the world height or anything like that, the "area" below bedrock will be simulated by some math done by the machines, it will not physically exist in the world and will not be directly accessible to the player.
There will be significant processing involved and some form of a tech tree with materials from one tier being required to advance to the next one.
For example, with machines you can build from vanilla minecraft materials you can drill and mine some mineral [insert good mineral name here], there will be a machine it can be separates it into hematite (a.k.a iron ore) and some nickel-containing mineral [insert another name here]. Those can be processed using smelting and chemical reduction into pure iron and nickel which can then be smelted into nickel-steel that is much harder and can be used to build stronger machines that can dig deeper and mine other minerals.
There will be options of interaction with other mods where feasible, so for example that nickel can also be used in TE (ferrous ore = nickel) and if you have tons of nickel from (for example) gregtech, you can skip the first tier and build stronger machines right away.
There will also be some form of prospecting and resource distribution, so for example one are of the world has very rich iron deposits while another is rich in oil (that you can drill and extract with some other machine).
There probably won't be any worldgen involved, so that you can easily add the mod to any world. All materials used will either come from vanilla minecraft or be generated from mining.
The name, for those interested, is "borrowed" from EVE Online, and might get changed before release (to increase search-ability and decrease chances of being sued by CCP)

Edit: Just tried it and I like it! I use MCI Craft and Big Reactors and I like this mod better. It works perfect (I have 93 mods installed) with absolutely no bugs. Keep up the good work!
Oh, and I luv the fuel turbine. An actually simple to make and understand multiblock? Too awesome.
I'm currently running a setup with 45 Ender IO capacitor cells for a total of 21,000,000 MJ's AND a setup with 4 MFSU's that charge rather fast. I have eight 50 turbine multiblock generators to output this power.

Well, how exactly are they over powered? They cost more than a buildcraft redstone engine, which can also theoretically pull more than 64 buckets of liquid.
The canisters don't function like tanks, you can't place them directly in the world. It's mostly a convenience item for clearing spills and early-game gathering of fluid resources. Also there are similar sized containers in multiple mods - TE has 64 bucket tanks (but they do cost a fortune), extra utilities drums are 256 buckets and cheap, etc.

Here are some example maps i've made while experimenting with the numbers. Every pixel is a minecraft chunk (so the map is 1000x1000 chunks) with brightness indicating resource avaiability.
I will probably play with it a bit more, i want to have the option to use multiple different noise frequencies for every layer, instead of simple octaves - it should make it possible to generate even crazier distributions
In other news the scanner now has an (untextered) GUI and an internal inventory (where you will be putting scanning modules for different resources and upgrades) and has all the client/server stuff in place (so the map is generated on the server and every player gets only the chunks he needs to see when he has a scanner active)

If I could contribute an idea, maybe you could add plenty of items and machines that have to deal with pressure and heat? For example, fossils, coal, gems, oil... uh, neutronium...
I haven't seen a mod focus on the space below bedrock, so this is definitely a very unique and welcome idea for a mod!

I have also disabled the buggy chunk based data storage for now (as it's unused by current mechanics) which should significantly reduce chances of save corruption and chunk resets (chances of kitten being murdered and/or pizza being eaten might or might not be affected)
My next step will be adding actual machines that can dig down to those resources and extract them, stay tuned
