While I do agree that it is wrong to steal things from other authors and that you should indeed remove the mod as it is now, I hope you decide to make your own available soon. Things like the Natural Researches are very nice and pretty unique.
Since when did "not reinventiing the wheel mean decompiling and deobfusticating someone elses code, and copying it almost word for word, and not even mentioning who made it? I was SURE it meant, seeing how someone else did it, and then using that for help doing it yourself
Have you ever code every think from scratch??? That if you ever code anything. some module are so well coded that is even to difficult to even come whit something better.
Take for example that once i was going to code a dice rolling function a die at a time not knowing all the think I could do in that coding and when i look there was one in less line and more compact that I could have come on whit.
And another question if you use computer craft do you right code from scratch of use the one pastebin. Believe when i tell you they are many approach to solve a problem but in coding you one the most efficient and hammering the lest possible....
I love the idea, And so far it looks good, finally some proper endgame content, but may I request that you add the blocks as well. So we can finally have proper duplication, and repairing. Other than that looks good, keep it up.
Edit: I just saw that this mod is mostly stolen, so forget everything above and I don't know how to remove comments so I guess an edit is the only way to show that I hate how you entirely stolen this mod. It's a shame too because the "original" ideas here are actually kind of interesting, and go back the idea of magical technology which I find that thaumcraft 3 and 4 seem to lack. The point is if you have interesting ideas but can't code, get someone else to code for you, or ask permission to use their code, or for an addon just suggest it to the original creator.
When criticizing mods, keep in mind, I am quite harsh, but the fact that I took time out of my day just to criticize the mod, means that I like the idea and can think that be better, and deserves the improvement.
Crystaline Bell - When you ring it, all your Dogs, Cats and Traveling Trunks will get Teleport to you. Frozen Sunlight - When you're in a cave, you can use this to teleport you to the entrance of the cave. Magnetized Chestplate - Attracts every Item close to you.
Since these don't seem stolen could you release a mini-mod with only those please or the source code for those?
I love this mod's Eldritch Stone and the unimplemented Eldritch Locks that I happened to be using as I was typing this. Can you possibly release a mini-mod or whatever specifically about the Eldritch stuff? I'd love to see the Monolith once again...

I'm working on a rewrite right now and i want to implement them in there.

You can add:
Various Dungeons with ancient artifacts that can not produce itself, but the objects themselves would be helpful.
For example, a flying carpet, or improve boots, Mirrors for teleportation Player.
p.s. It's cool, recently thought lacks many items from thaumcraft 2.
When will the rewrite be done? Please make it for 1.6 cause that's the version I use for all my mods.
I cant't say when im done but i will soon put a first version on our server for testing. Im developing the mod in 1.7 because everybody is updating their mod for the newest version and Azanor added some pretty cool features.

I'm glad you decide to keep your good work alive, but I still don't understand why modder continue to "update" to 1.7, it's SUPER buggy, not stable, add nothing really important that is not already in a 1.6.4 mod, and 1.8 is just around the corner...
Anyway, you're the modder, i'll just keep 1.1-02 in my private modpack

Do you know why he's updating to 1.7? It appears you don't.
Firstly you'll never have an ID bug again. Never will have to check through your configs to see if there is a pair of items conflicting with their ID's.
There will be no block limit. Now you can have more than 4095 blocks in total. (Not that I see you ever getting that number of blocks.
Instead of ID's adding items and gadgets to minecraft will be done with a Name based system. (There is certainly room for something similar to ID conflicts to pop up here, That's obvious.) But generally moving on to 1.7 will be good for whatever mod does so.
You should be excited, not sad.

But it's not because it's easy that it's better.
There is so much bug in 1.7 that many mod will skip it, add to that the proximity of 1.8 and the modding API.
I am very excited to see a modder and his mod survive some "stolen" drama, it have shown WerWolv the base, some idea and way of doing thing, and now he will be able to make an awesome mod all by himself.
And he code for 1.7 not really for the ID thing(even if it's great, we always manage to correct the ID thing, and back in IDResolver no one talked about that inconvenience), but for the stuff Azanor add in his mother-mod.

I hope I'm not being a bother by asking but I was curious on how the rewrite is going. I found this topic after you had taken the download down and was hoping to test it out once the rewrite was finished but anyway, good luck with it all!

I'm curious as well. Waiting on both Advanced Thaumaturgy and this one here to update Thaumcraft to 1.7.2.

Since I assume you still have say in Thaumic Tinkerer since it seems people want the Watch of the Timetwister back why not bring it back?

When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
