i hope that this mod isn't dead because there are no posts since July. This is a very nice mod and i decided to use it for my custom game content. Unfortunally, this mod has a little failure, which makes working on recipes very slow. Every item and block appears in a list of buttons. In a modded minecraft it takes the mod more then three minutes to build this list - so a fully shaped recipe will take at least 30 minutes (on an Intel Core i7 with 16 Gig RAM)!
I've switched of every facades and other decorative stuff if possible. Unfortunately, Forge Multipart couldn't be deactivated.
I hope that the creator(s) of this mod will find a solution for it.
The mod is not dead, just not actively being developed right now. I've uploaded an update that should make the list load a lot faster.

sorry to make a second response but it would'nt let me add more under the other spoiler. Ive had a few other troubles too. When I set the block to 'only be placed on ceilings' and then add it too the world gen, it still creates the certain objects 'ON TOP' of the blocks.
For example, the object, is a crosstexture flower that I am trying to have hang off the underside of some leaf blocks, but up to this point I am still unsuccessful in making that work. Is it the world gen messing up? Or do I need to add scripts here?
Next. When I add normal block ore to the world gen then say I want it to spawn in the 'air' biome, nothing happens. I figured that was because air blocks are not a option to spawn them on but that particular biome/option is rather confusing/misleading.
lastly on the subject of scripts, I am unable to get any to work. I type them in every way thinkable on my own, as well as copy paste scripts from other places like the Customstuff 2 wiki. But no scripts seem to work for me. Can you give me a example of a right one? Something simple even. Like Ive been trying to make a sword that onLeftClick, kills all creatures in a certain radius. or a sword that causes a explosion where I am looking when I left click. Idk if its my game..... or me... but something isint right..... or if you know a place I can learn about minecraft scripts....
Also I was surprised to find that none of the options the execute scripts let me put commands in like I would a command block.
another question would be. Is the item creation tab/gui useable to anyone other than a OP? I was considering making a server with this on it, but I don't want the average player to mess up the server with the power to make or change my creations at will.
Anyway, any and all help is appreciated. Sorry for so many questions.

Bump? Would it be possible to change the render offset as well as the render scale? It would be helpful for weapons like a staff or spear that aren't held by one end.

Items and creative inventory tabs (and maybe other things, I haven't tried them all) are using unlocalized names. Do I need to add a lang file somewhere?
I just wanna do a kind of shield using cs3 mod, but i actually dont know how :3. It should be just an item that should absorb all the damage during using just like on this video

sorry to make a second response but it would'nt let me add more under the other spoiler. Ive had a few other troubles too. When I set the block to 'only be placed on ceilings' and then add it too the world gen, it still creates the certain objects 'ON TOP' of the blocks.
For example, the object, is a crosstexture flower that I am trying to have hang off the underside of some leaf blocks, but up to this point I am still unsuccessful in making that work. Is it the world gen messing up? Or do I need to add scripts here?
Next. When I add normal block ore to the world gen then say I want it to spawn in the 'air' biome, nothing happens. I figured that was because air blocks are not a option to spawn them on but that particular biome/option is rather confusing/misleading.
lastly on the subject of scripts, I am unable to get any to work. I type them in every way thinkable on my own, as well as copy paste scripts from other places like the Customstuff 2 wiki. But no scripts seem to work for me. Can you give me a example of a right one? Something simple even. Like Ive been trying to make a sword that onLeftClick, kills all creatures in a certain radius. or a sword that causes a explosion where I am looking when I left click. Idk if its my game..... or me... but something isint right..... or if you know a place I can learn about minecraft scripts....
Also I was surprised to find that none of the options the execute scripts let me put commands in like I would a command block.
another question would be. Is the item creation tab/gui useable to anyone other than a OP? I was considering making a server with this on it, but I don't want the average player to mess up the server with the power to make or change my creations at will.

Is 'air' a biome from another mod or do you just want to generate floating blocks. The latter is not possible atm.
player.sendChat("A Message"); is a working script if used in an item. Have you installed Rhino as told at the top on the curse(forge) page?
The gui can only works in singleplayer. You can't edit anything on a server.
Will you be adding armor creation in the future?
I haven't created any new items for a while so I guess I missed it. What about the models/texture of the armour?

I've got a question about weapon icons. How do I determine where in the hand it renders? Let's say I want to make a weapon held in the middle instead of at the bottom - how do I do that?
Bump? Would it be possible to change the render offset as well as the render scale? It would be helpful for weapons like a staff or spear that aren't held by one end.

i both use customstuff2 and 3,but i found the CraftingHandler in customstuff2 sometimes doesn`t trigger.
And i found the reason at last:Only the output is item can trigger the CraftingHandler,if the output is a block,it never work.
Is that a bug?
Items and creative inventory tabs (and maybe other things, I haven't tried them all) are using unlocalized names. Do I need to add a lang file somewhere?
That was a bug. Should be fixed now.
Seems like the model format has changed, which is why most blocks and items look wrong in the inventory. I'll have that fixed tomorrow or on tuesday.
The model files are recreated every time you change the block or item. If you want to have your own model, you have to set hasCustomModel to true.
