I loved this mod even in it's early stages, also the promise of magic. But you might want to stick with 1.6.4 since most mods will be sticking to that. Being said, if you are already done coding or too far in, don't change it cause I know how much of a pain that can be (I moded for skyrim for a bit, after all the patches from bethesda stopped, it was the biggest relief ever!) anyways, Atra gülai un ilian tauthr ono un atra ono waíse sköliro frá rauthr. (I would help except I don't know java)
Yes I would like one to. How's it going? Anyway, happy coding!
Hello! At the moment, we are still working on the mod. We have run into some errors with MCP. We are working to fix them and will have more info out soon!

When you are making the dragon textures, can the white dragon actually be white? On taklok's mod, the white dragon was kindof silvery gray. Heck, it'd be even better to have both colors on two seperate dragons

Means that he will and will more than likely laugh as I struggle to place in randomly generated dragon sizes/AI mentalities/strengths/speeds.
Wow, are you seriously going to try to implement that, or is it a joke? If your not kidding, that really sounds like an amazing idea! Random dragon strengths and speeds. Who would have thought of that?

'Tis an idea we want to implement in the beta releases. Beta will be more about making things epic and creating an actual AI-intelligent feel. Dragon's will have different mentalities, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Players will also be able to use the dragon magic stuff (can't think, too tired) as a way to combat. This will more than likely be iCode and I working together- him on the magic and me on the actual implementation/limitations of when the magic occurs/ends. Another thing that we are thinking of implementing (if at all possible) is the ability to fight on the dragons while they fly. This may or may not happen because of the advanced-ness of this coding and all the different variables that will control what will happen/what will affect the players while it happens.
An idea I had that I haven't brought up yet (and we will definitely not implement until near the end; if at all) is another game mode for Minecraft called "Realism." What it'll do is create a book-like feel where you get one dragon and once it dies, you can't get another and the dragon/rider magic is no longer accessible to the player. Maybe we'll add in a randomly generated storyline for this? Who knows. I sure as hell don't.

Sounds like you guys have a good plan. I like the idea of fighting on the dragon. This would make things a bit more fun, for sure! Realism also sounds like a good way to please all of the die-hard Eragon fans, and the casual fans at the same time. Looking forward to the initial release, and future updates! I check back here everyday, hoping to see a download!

What he says is true, we do want to add in a larger majority of Dragons into the game. Being that dragons are such an essential part to the books and to the mod, we want to make them as realistic as possible. While it will not be in beta we implement all of it, some of it is under consideration. We plan to have one massive dragon update that will be including 100+ new features right after the massive mob update. It will take a while, and hopefully soon we plan on having an alpha release out. As I stated earlier we have run into an issue with MCP. Also another point to mention is that Mojang is going to be releasing a Mod API so it will take us some time to switch it over.

Well, dragons are my favorite part about this mod and the books, and I am glad you are putting much thought and consideration into the mod. I can wait to beta, although I don't like too, but I am looking forward to an alpha release, just to quench my thirst. What kind of problem did you run into with MCP?

Thanks for the update, so is MCP updated?
It is not.
Ah well I guess the best thing we can do is be patient
I will have to consider it.
Lol, I have to say same here!
Thats Great! We Love to Hear That! We are as well!

Very Simple Actually, Texture Problems.
