I think this mod would be really cool and probably the best mod out there if it went in the direction the Lord of the Rings mod went, with a whole new dimension, biomes and races, alignment, terrain generation etc.
I'm not sure if you know the Lord of the Rings mod but when you start the game you just get the stuff for the portal from creative you jump into the dimension and then you just don't sort of come back to the overworld (you can but that's not really the point of it), so you're not really jumping between dimensions you just stay in middle earth or in this case Alagaesia. And if you create the dimension you can create the whole world of alagaesia inside whithout the limits of the overworld. For example inside this dimension you could add all the "biomes of alagaesia", for example The Hadarac Desert, Du Weldenvarden, The Beor Mountains, Surda, The Island of Vroengard, The Spine etc. And also all the towns and cities and races like Uru'Baen, Carvahall, Farthen Dur, Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Riders, Urgals etc. And also a quest system in the future where you can follow Eragon's path or choose your own and become evil. The possibilities are endless...
Anyways this is a great mod but I think it Could really reach its full potential if it adds a new dimension and all of these things, if you want to know a llitle bit more what I'm talking about check out The Lord of the Rings Mod, it's a really cool, in-depth mod and it is from where I got all these ideas from.
I also recommend creating a facebook page for the mod where you can post all the new things added
Funny enough actually I am extremely familiar with the LOTR Mod as I am a huge fan of LOTR. To address what your saying, what you are saying makes complete sense. We have just decided that we would rather implement all those things in the overworld because then it will add the effect of not distinguishing Alagasiea from the overworld. The overworld will be Alagasiea.
It is just going to be things in Alagasiea spawning in a normal minecraft world. Such as the Menoa tree, it spawns only once in the whole minecraft world. It will be that way if we ever do cities as well. It is incorporating Eragon elements into a normal minecraft expieriance.
But will you add the biomes of alagaesia or just the normal biomes?
How wiil you stop things that don't make sense in alagaesia from spawning in the overworld? For example zombies, skeetons, slimes, jungles etc.
Well we are planning on keeping minecraft minecraft. We aren't gonna stop zombies and skeletons etc because this is a minecraft mod. Our goal is to add things not take them away. When we get to biomes (if) we are going to just incorporate them into the world.
Lately there has been a bit of questioning about what direction the mod is going in in regards to biomes and dimensions so let me just clear a few things up...
We will not be adding in an Eragon Dimension
Biomes and Races will be incorporated into the normal minecraft experience.
Everything this mod offers will be taking place in the overworld
We plan on keeping the mod one which alters your minecraft game ergo minecraft mod. We don't plan on making a storyline or other such features as that. We want to add in a mod which allows the user to experience the minecraft world as a dragon rider. This will include races, cities, biomes, bosses, magic, dragons, etc. etc. We plan on pleasing as many people as possible but unfortunately we cant please everyone We will do are darndest to make everybody happy!

My Friend, there is no way I can help you. It is an extremely difficult matter to read those errors sometimes and frankly after reading through, I can not tell you what is wrong. My only recommendation is to uninstall all the other mods your using then slowly but surely add them back into until it stops working again. I see you have some mods loaded in the info so

Just to the guy that wanted dimension? How about you host a server, build your own world with world painter using the mod... Done! I am happy with the vanilla integration, there's too many dimensions as is with mods.
Now, this is to wizight... Just a quick Q. I know you guys are plugging along, so I have to know;
We all know 1.7.2 is a dirty, dirty place.... Since you are working on dragons (I assume? Unless something else has taken priority), will you be using the 1.7.10 code format, dual format, or sticking with 1.7.2 only for now? Either way, I am still going to use this mod at some point, so it will be a matter of dual minecraft instances for myself!
Yes We plan on updating the mod to 1.7.10 but unfortunately at this moment LordUnitato is on vacation so not much is getting done in the realm of coding. But yes we will try to get a 1.7.10 update out but if that dosent happen look for the dragon update to be the newest version.

I hear vacations are bad places to try and code (or anything worky)... Especially after a few rounds at the hotel bar. Though that would sooner send you broke than intoxicated at most.
Again, I could be wrong. Being drunk can be the highest state of creativity and focus to some, I have actually witnessed this... it is a terrifying sight to behold.
Unfortunately, Dragons are not implemented yet no They will be coming out extremely soon however but with school rounding the corner, it may become more and more difficult to do releases.
Hey so I was wondering... is Shurtugal Revived the official name? Or will it be something more like just Eragon Mod? I personally think "The Inheritance Mod" sounds cool but its just a name, what really defines the mod are the features...
Anyways this is a great mod but I think it Could really reach its full potential if it adds a new dimension and all of these things, if you want to know a llitle bit more what I'm talking about check out The Lord of the Rings Mod, it's a really cool, in-depth mod and it is from where I got all these ideas from.

Now, this is to wizight... Just a quick Q. I know you guys are plugging along, so I have to know;
We all know 1.7.2 is a dirty, dirty place.... Since you are working on dragons (I assume? Unless something else has taken priority), will you be using the 1.7.10 code format, dual format, or sticking with 1.7.2 only for now? Either way, I am still going to use this mod at some point, so it will be a matter of dual minecraft instances for myself!

Again, I could be wrong. Being drunk can be the highest state of creativity and focus to some, I have actually witnessed this... it is a terrifying sight to behold.
