I guess you don't get it.
The last update was I think in may of 2014. It's clear that the mod is not being worked on, or less the creator would have said something by this time.
The 1.7.10 version is now ready to go! Let me know if you spot any bugs.

I also have some suggestions/bug reports:
Bug: Edit: I got the bug wrong at first, what I mean is, when you place the portal on the ground in a superflat world it puts the portal up there, instead of on the ground.
Suggestion: Make the rewards based on percentage of mobs killed instead of time, building an impervious box is too easy to do and this change would at least encourage getting out there and fighting.
Check out my adventure modpack! 25+ carefully selected mods (Not counting Core Mods) and great for if you don't have that beefy of a computer. Plus it has over 2K downloads and counting so y'know it's good. Oh, and fully multiplayer compatible!

If a third mob is added, you probably should make it flying, and transport other mobs of it's size. (There would be a big one for bosses, and a small one for smaller bad guys.)
