That was mostly rhetorical ^^' In a buggy mess which is mc's code is a short answer, and I can't help with the specifics. I didn't mean to hurry you, sorry and take your time.

This little link might help you guys with understanding how to blend between light colours properly, and what pitfalls to avoid: http://ninedegreesbe...rmal-blend.html
Pictures say more than a thousand words, they say, and this has a lot of pictures.
How to have fun with lag and bug,is it a joke?
nice to see it finally released,I hope you'll improve it in the future
Edit : it seems that you are not alone to do this :
do you think this is true or a fake?
It's a phrase meaning that it will be buggy and most likely laggy. It's pretty funny to most programmers I've told it to.
I'm pretty sure that's real, though it doesn't look well implemented.

Definitely real. It's close to the same approach CptSpaceToaster uses, from what I gathered on how that works. They use 4 light channels (3 for block light and 1 for sky) and have a 16x16x16 lookup texture for the block light, and add to that a 1x16 texture for the sky light. Light propagation is still going to be tricky to work out, but it's not like it's doing anything magic. I mean aside from still using a fixed function pipeline in this day and age.
You don't understand this torture. I want to work on this so bad, but I've been nose to the grindstone in life right now.
Kovu's around, but It seems that I'm the one who has to work on this. And thank you. Feel free to continue to post bugs. Just try not to parrot everyone else too much. I run the mod myself as well... so I know about a lot of these. If you happen to find something new, feel free to post about it!
That's why I release the beta...
Well that...
And so you can take sweet looking screenshots bragging to your friends about the mod!
The mod comes in two parts. so make sure you download the Core ... AND the Beta... Once installed, get in creative mode, and get the blocks from the second page (decoration) of Creative Mode!
Also, we have no support for smooth lighting. Make sure you have smooth lighting turned off!
it's a beta. Thank you for identifying the bugs. These are ones I know about. The word Beta means that its far from completion, but i wanted to get something out there for you guys to see!
That... and I also wanted to figure out how to get it out there.
:3
Kovu and I will tell you how great of a trip that was!

They are down on second page of creative inventory, "Decoration blocks".

I used update bug to achieve additional colors here.
What a colorfull mess!
Imagen a lava that look like that in wanilla...
Just an attempt to overload, failed.
Nice screenshots! Currently, we're working on fixing some update issues, which should hopefully solve most bugs.
Thanks! I'm a bit of hobby artist, and I could think of a signature design based on screenshot if we need one.
Feel free to use them than, they are your work.
Sometimes I let myself be mistaken about Einstein's endless, but then someone like you shows me how wrong I am, thank you for that.
