Perhaps the mech could have twenty hearts instead of ten? It is after all, made of metal and is supposed to be resilient. Right now, it just seems odd that it has the same health value as the player.

Yes, however, I suggested 20 hearts for the mech, same health value as endermen. 40 health, double the player health value. I realise that health counts 1 per half heart. I'm not sure what you're on about correcting what seems the be the same information?
Add fuel(coal or charcoal) and ensure that the magicite is in the slot and blue light is on (magicite acts like a key for the mech, akin to that of a car). Also, make sure that you're not in park.

I must ask, is there anyway to repair the armor? If so then can someone inform me as to how? A spider took out half of it's health and I would perfer it not to break if another spider attacks
Cross mod issue: Mechs suffocate in space when placed in Galacticraft's space environments. I'm not sure if mechs have lungs, but that probably isn't the case.
I love how this mod brings some serious fan-favorite FF6 features into the world of Minecraft! I can see a few simple ways of doing some of the other Magitek abilities seen in the game, but I can also see how some of the others would be a royal pain to mod in. TekMissle and Drill Bit could be projectiles, but how could X-Fer work? Bio Blast could be based on particles that cause poison in the area, but Plasma Cannon may be too massive for most to handle (then again, Touhou Items has some impressive attacks that work). It's going to be really interesting watching over time what gets accomplished with this one.

Interesting question/thought here... There are 2 crafting recipes for Magicite. Any plans int he future for them to craft *different* magicite crystals? Perhaps different magicite would give mechs different beams?
I don't want to tell you what to do, but this mod would be an epic addon to Ars Magica 2. You could overhaul the inventory so it can accept different Ars Magica spells and can cast them from an essence battery. The battery itself is filled over time by the Magicite and each different kind of Magicite could be attuned to different essence or spell types. So a fire Esper magicite would give a bonus to fire-aligned spells from Ars Magica 2 and generate neutral essence and consume it for spellcasting while a Lich or death type Magicite generates and consumes dark essence. With the spell slots, you could make a magitek armor designed for digging and smelting or a suit designed to shield and heal allies or even grow crops. You keep locomotion based on fuel while using essence to fuel the magic the armor uses and the magicite generates energy over time that allows it to cast spells.
I mean think about it, instead of creating a whole new system for magic or simply adding even the base array of Terra's magitek spells (why didn't Celes have bonus Magitek abilities, anyway?!) wouldn't compare to a fully modular spell system that would fit right in. I'd like to be able to recharge my Death-based protoarmor in my nexus.
Though, if I recall, the magicite was never discovered with the development of the magitek weapons and they were somehow using live Espers to fuel them. IDK.

The only bug i found was that when jumping from high places, you take damage, it would be nice if riding the mech gave you full damage immunity, and the mech took the damage instead.
Also, for more abilites, the magitech mech should be able to pick up and throw blocks, or place them. The proto mech, should be able to run faster and jump higher.
Just some ideas and opinions, this is awesome, good luck!

Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
are ther plans for any other mechs, like bigger ones or higher tier ones because this is one of the only mods that comes close to the awesomeness of a titan in minecraft (and i don't mean the piddly titanfall ones either, i mean the space marine/empire variety).

This mod is an amazing first attempt, the models are effing great, I actually like them more than the ones in Titanfall IMHO. I see alot of awesome ideas on this thread, hopefully we can see some of the new stuff you have going soon. See, when you strap into a giant mechanical badass machine, you expect it to vastly improve over what you can already do on foot, both in terms of combat and labor. Like other people, I too would like to see these protect from fall damage and the like, maybe have one mech for mining easier and have increased carrying capacity (its own inventory) (especially for ppl like me who have carry weight enabled), and another (preferably enclosed) mech for battle with some sort of weapon system. there's a mech in Better Dungeons (AKA Chocolate Quest) and it even has a weapon, albeit a very much simpler model and relatively uninventive weapon, but its still pretty cool compared to a bow. Regardless of all these suggestions, this mod thus far is very well implemented, I am glad it needs fuel and the models, again are amazing. One last bit, as far as mod integ. goes, I agree with some tougher recipes for IC2 users, maybe EU could be fuel, (have a seperate fuel slot for batteries and one for coals)and it could protect from radiation, perfect for mining uranium or exploring nuked enemy territory ??? idk... Just some thoughts. If done right, this could be one of the best mods we've all seen...
Love this mod, it'll go great with chococraft But you know what would be banging, if you let us charge mechs with RF or MJs. Then like edit the mechs like different addons/weapons.
