Guess it won't be a long wait till you play with Metallurgy again.
I have some progress to show everyone
I can't believe what I'm seeing. I'm definitely going to start using Metallurgy once you release the next version of your mod, Glassmaker! Thank you for this mod.

Guess you can start playing Metallurgy again, you can use Metallurgy metals to make tools in version 0.7.0, which just have been uploaded
Glassmaker, Thank you for the work you have done on this. I think I have a bug to report though. Using 1.5.0, I combined Metallurgy 3.3.1 and TiC 1.5.0.2.
I turned off spawning of TiC's Metals that matched Metallurgy's metals, so that there weren't two Tin and 2 copper. Everything seems to be working fine for most Metallurgy Metals I have found so far, except Metallurgy's Tin. I cannot seem to smelt the Tin Blocks in the Smeltery, they just sit there. In the pic below you can see the 2 Tin Blocks just sitting there and not smelting.
Also, when some of the Metallurgy Metals are in the Smeltery, they don't display the number of Ingots they show mB:### As in the screenshot below, and then the Lava amount in the Smeltery is not displayed. In the screenshot below the Lava level is completely full, and after draining the Smeltery, the level shows back up.
Let me know if you need any more information. I have scanned the Launching Log for ID conflicts and have resolved them all, which did not affect these problems.

Looks like you are using Version 0.5.2 with TiC 1.5.0, please use Verison 0.7.0 with TiC 1.5.0, as there are changes in TiC 1.5.0 that not compatible with 0.5.2

I was using 0.7.0 correctly, but it does look like I had the wrong version of TiC, I was using 1.4.7 instead of 1.5.0. Sorry about the false bug report. Updating TiC to 1.5.0.2 so far has allowed my to smelt Metallurgy's Copper correctly.

Dear god, i have been waiting for this for ages. This mod has me as excited to hop back into minecraft as much as Ars Magica 2 and Thaumcraft 4 do. I'm assuming you're planning on eventually adding the extra properties that metallurgy metals have to certain tools? IE: use a vyroxeres blade on a sword or a rapier and you get a poisonous sword.
Also are you planning on doing arrows? Twilight Forest metals?

This is awesome
I have a bug to report: Making a Mithril Pickaxe head doesn't allow to gather Adamantine or other ore from similar level.
As they are end-game goal, this is a problem.

According to the Metallurgy wiki, Mithril is only a mining level 5, adamantine requires mining level 6. So it is working as mithril is designed in Metallurgy.

I'm trying to see if extra properties of the metals are possible, as for the arrows they are included, not sure about twilight forest metals at the moment.

Mithril is having a Mining level 4 while Adamantine requires level 5, so you need to use either Manyullyun, Vulcanite, Celenegil or Orichalcum pickaxe heads to mine Adamantine.

I would think the Extra properties would be possible from the metals, since Cactus and paper already impart special proprties to their tools/weapons when made from them.
I second the request for Twilight Forest Metals, that would be cool. I moved all of the Fantasy Metals to the Twilight Forest to make them a bit more interesting to gather, but having those from Twilight Forest incorporated would make things even more seamless.
Again, thanks for the work on this so far, i have been enjoying it tremendously.

Creating your own metal effect is a different thing than using the current available ones, So I will be looking into it.
I will be looking into The Twilight Forest metals.

First off, I love this mod! Great job! There is a bug with hammers in that i can mine any metallurgy ore with any tier hammer as long as i mine out the block beside it.
Also there are a few alloys that list as millibuckets instead of ingots in the smeltery (electrum being one i think, i'm not near my comp at the moment)
In any case, this is one of the cleanest alpha mods i've ever played, thanks!
Also if it isn't too much to ask, is it possible to get some thaumcraft support too? nothing insane, just thaumium smelting and tools.
Hi SolemnSoul,
Yes, the next version is built for Minecraft 1.6.4, Tinkers' Construct 1.5, and Metallurgy 3.3
Thaumcraft 4 is supported by Tinkers' Construct 1.5, so no need to add it to ExtraTiC
