I really enjoy using tinkers constructs for ore processing just because of the realism, I look forward to see where you take this and tip my hat to you for undertaking this.
Yes! Been waiting for this (TC-Metallurgy compatibility) for a while. Thanks glassmaker!
Ditto, these two mods needed compatibility for the longest time.
Wouldn't you a it was worth the wait Theweltinator ?
I'm also sure glassmaker will keep up the great work with this mod
's for glassmaker
My one suggestion for features would be if possible, have Metallurgy Brass also capable of making castings. I find the stuff not all that useful and you can find plenty of zinc around
Perhaps you could add a thing where putting molten midasium in a smeltery turns all the liquid inside to molten gold? I know you're still busy with the main part of the mod, but when you finish that, I thought this would be an interesting thing to add.

Wow, mDiyo once had the idea of having Tinker's Construct be compatible with Metallurgy 3 until some plans got changed. -snip-
Keep in mind that some of those plans being changed were the Metallurgy 3 team adding in a set of 6 ores and 45 alloys (51 metals overall). , https://docs.google....Qta3BUVXc#gid=7
Still, just having smeltery compatibility has been such a headache reliever. Too much un-useable copper / tin / bronze just lying around.

For balance, it'd have to be 1:1 like dust mixing is, less it becomes kinda broken; unless that's what you meant
oki using FTB , build the compound, obvisouly it works, since controller is light, but there is no flow out of the liquid metalls , hmm
seems there is something I am missing ?
As far as my knowledge FTB is still on minecraft 1.5.2, while the mod is for minecraft 1.6.2 and 1.6.4, so I guess there is your problem
Seems TC 1.4.7 isn't melting down Metallurgy ores as it should, couldn't even do copper. They aren't mixing either as I had both bronze and iron in the same smeltery and no mix happening

The next version will have a fix for that, there are some changes on TiC 1.4.7 that made it incompatible with ExtraTiC 0.5.2.
Wow, this is pretty neat!
Also, I know that this isn't exactly a thing for this but, could at some point there be an addition for Twilight Forest materials? Like, being able to make tools out of ironwood, knightly metal, and steeleaf? The first two could work in the smelter, though, it would make more sense to put stealeaf in a parts builder instead though.

HI boondockArtist, I will be looking into that and see if it's possible
Hope to see it to have version-independant builds, since Metallurgy and Tinker's Construct both have that. And it is awkward to have updated version of Tinker's Construct on 1.6.2 and not being able to use 0.5.1 or 0.5.2 build of ExtraTiC...

Not sure, there are some progress, but i'm working on the mod in my free time.

Want to use this but don't want to step on your toes.
Thanks

Sorry, I didn't see your post,
I will add permission policy for mod packs later, you have my approval if you want to add it, but keep in mind it's still alpha.
Also, here is a sneak peak of what will be available soon:
