Tab+U confirmed I've read a couple pages back that this debug mode increases damage and removes cooldown and what not, but it doesn't seem to have the described effect. Is there anything more I should do? Thanks, by the way
Also, in One Piece, eating a devil fruit was mostly a gamble. One didn't know which fruit was eaten. But in this mod, you always know the fruit. It's somewhat useful, but the survival gameplay basically means hunting a billion years for one fruit you want and hoarding other fruit. It also makes the gameplay too predictable and players definitely don't make the best use of the mod and are not even experiencing the gameplay you provide with a big array of DFs.
It would be cool to get a random power when eating a DF. It'd make gameplay more diverse and learning how to make the best use of a fruit you ate would be neat.
Also, I noticed that the Goro Goro no Mi can't be aquired in survival(after hundreds of keys spent on all tier boxes). That sucks. Why would you go trough the effort of making a fruit, and such a fun one, if you're not implementing it?
Btw, Busoshoku haki is OP, while DFs are too limited damage- vise. I suggest that no offensive attack of a DF should go below that of a Shigan(25 dmg). In all of One Piece, there's not been an offensive DF attack that couldn't one-hit a generic marine/pirate/bandit.
There's also a lack of bandits in the mod, suprisingly.

Read carefully.. "Goro Goro no Mi". I can't test this for sure since the doriki resets randomly (Can't do survival mode) but I think I got it before in a chest.
As for the random power idea-- That would not fit One Piece at all. I say all fruits should be OP and less common (but found in other places than chests [Trees, bushes]) while having way stronger but less abundant foes. If all fruits are OP to Vanilla minecraft, it would be a gift to find any fruit. That said, this mod pretty much revolves around Devil Fruits. Everything else is irrelevant. You can not beat Lucci without a devil fruit even if you have max Doriki and diamond armor. I was thinking this mod should focus more on One Piece. In One Piece, not all characters are Devil Fruit users but are still very capable. Zoro can cut a ship in half--No Devil Fruit needed, God Usopp can snipe accurately from miles away with a slingshot--No Devil Frit required. While I say the Devil Fruits should be better, some still need to be "The shortest straw" in that they don't help much. When I say this, cursing a player with 5 damage/5s is not what I mean. Gomu Gomu no Mi would be a curse if Luffy didn't eat it. Being made of rubber doesn't exactly make you God tier. I could go on and on and on but I'll stop now.

But, what we are basically getting at is a solution to the same problem: Devil fruits are so easy to find that the players are picky and don't ever get to use most of the fruits, except for the ones they are sure are useful. Gameplay would be more engaging if a player had to adapt to a devil fruit power, hence grow fonder with it.
Do you remember how many characters in One Piece(including Luffy) got an unexpected DF power and had to work with it to make it useful? That's what I'd love most as a final goal of this mod. Dynamic DF usefulness, where DF powers can be used in many ways, instead of simple attacks, so that the wit of a player impacts the usefulness/enjoyment/coolness of a DF power.
Besides, when you get a super OP devil fruit right in the beginning, it's no fun. You just use it as a weapon/tool. A DF with which you can grow in power together is really awesome. When you can combine attacks for different effects and combine attacks with haki to make them even better.
I like your idea too. Making DFs so rare that one would accept anything they can get is cool. However, most people wouldn't enjoy that. As an example, someone who plays casually just for this mod and One Piece would be frustrated at hours spent hunting DFs without success. For such a concept to work, Wynd would have to expand this mod at least 3x in content(items, blocks, quests, mobs, etc.) in order to make it fun to play despite having little chance to find a DF. Kinda like making a whole new mod for itself.
Also, for anyone reading this, does anyone have any information on how Oda behaves towards copyright protection? Have there been any fan games? I could make a game based on One Piece, but I do not want to make it in vain. By the way, if anyone also has any means of contacting Oda, it would be marvelous, as I could ask him directly about it. Sorry for making a digression and going off topic, but I need to know, and where better than here?

For the hito hito no mi, Oda stated that if a human ate it, he'd become enlightened, which could, in the mod, be represented as becoming smarter(using scientific tools, special crafting, using something like a corpse table, etc.) and/or be like a next step in human evolution(better sight at night, zoom effect, bigger resistance, fire resistance, blast resistance, fall damage reduction, speed, strength, jump boost, some poison resistance,etc.)
2. About the rumble ball, it's supposed to distort the nature of a devil fruit, which hints at the possibility of it working on not only all zoan types, but also on paramecia and logia fruit as well.
3. Room doesn't work under water.
4. While Kaishin does work under water, the other two abilities don't
P.S: Wynd, If you were to reply to my PM, I'd know if I could and should be making mob models as well.

Water temples are in 1.8 so you can't find it in 1.7... Unless you're talking about 1.8 then I guess you gotta be lucky enough

What if I told you most of those features will be available in the next version ? (but no stats...too much stuff to work with and games that use stats are kinda unfair if you think about it...skill > stats sounds better in my opinion )

hmmm....well everything will be changed..more or less DFs will still be the same with small tweaks and newer code..but...yeah everything will be new o.o

Tab+ something else like T,Y,U,I,O or something like that. Tab+U I think. Use it along with the config mode enabled.
