Stellar Mods are Minecraft mods about Solar Systems and the Night Sky.
Stellar Sky is a universal mod that replaces the Minecraft night sky with Earth's real-life night sky, complete with the Sun, the Moon, the Planets, and of course the Stars.
Stellar Sky allows you to change the length of the world's Solar Cycle, and the number of days in a Minecraft year.
You can also set your longitude and latitude, and the night sky will change based on your global position.
You can even have 6 months of daylight and 6 months of darkness at the North and South poles.
ScreenShots

3) Jupiter and the Full Moon in Taurus.
4) Venus rises in the East, just before a New Moon at dawn.

Will you be adding a way to visit planets in the future? Maybe like an extension to Galacticraft, or creating your own planets that you can visit? Or just going into space. That would be cool. This mod is amazing, looking forward!

Yes of course. I'll add voyage to planets, and the Planets willl be Customizable via config!
You would be able to Make Your Own Planetary System!
(* I think this mod will be incompatible with Galacticraft..)
Hmm.. I'll consider the random generation of planetary system. Currently it is not in my plan.
About Fantasy feel, well, I think some texture packs will work, idk. Any ideas on it?
Of course I'm planning to add eclipse effect. When you are living in a satellite of Jovian planet, You will see some Giant Eclipse!
On the random generation, if it helps, I developed (in VB6) code that generated "realistic" randomised solar systems, and squirted out script files for use in Celestia for exploring (which was an offshoot of an earlier attempt at a 4X space game). http://s141.photobucket.com/user/piratelordx/library/NF (has concept images, and my images), if you can make use of them feel free to use those star images.

Yes of course. I'll add voyage to planets, and the Planets willl be Customizable via config!
You would be able to Make Your Own Planetary System!
(* I think this mod will be incompatible with Galacticraft..)
Yes I will customize gravity. On some satellites, you can nearly fly. On Super-Earth's surface, you can hardly jump

Also, another config option to enlarge the displayed sun(s)/moon(s)/planet(s) for a less realistic, but more fantasy feel.
Could you also build in eclipses, so day becomes dark (and the nasties crawl out their holes)?
Adding those options would really help enhance the mood of themed mod packs
