Ok so I got the mod installed I have everything set up and have the program running in computercraft
I got EU hooked to the core
I hit S for warp data and hit W-key for UP and I have a min of 201 max of 328
I type 328 and hit J to jump and nothing happens
(I'm on a home made server)
Does the energy got to be 100% ?
Also is D - Dimensions where you set the size of your ship? because that's what I did
If I figure this out fully I'll make a video and show others how to get started with it
By pressing D you setting up dimentions of your ship by count of blocks from your warpcore to all edges in particular directions.
Then you should collect enough energy to make jump.
Also notice that quantity of blocks in your ship on overworld is limited to 10k. Also a size is limited by, as i remember 90x90x90. I maybe wrong and it is only 64x64x64 on earth.
When you have properly sized ship, and have enough energy in the core, and have proper jumpmode set (i guess it's 1), so you will be able to jump. If you are not able, then something is wrong here, and you should look, if all the things comply.
For a single jump you don't need 100% energy, energy consumption depends on ship size and distance of jump, E=(10*shipsize)+(100*jumpdistance). And core can store 100M EU.
I tried this mod with a couple other mods (40?!) like Mystcraft or Galacticraft and I got a little not-to-hard-to-make-idea:
You could build a tier 2 warpcore (or maybe an addon to the normal one...) thats exactly the same, but it can travel to other
dimensions (using their ids)! The problem is if you are porting to e.g. nether your ship is going to explode... xD
This idea is more ment for SP not so much for MP (but Mystcraft + Servers aren´t such laggy if you don´t create many worlds!)

We already have a way and solution for that, you need just to wait. It will be better but without "dimention IDs".

A couple of advices: you must download all mods, whats required: IC2, CC, Applied Energistics. And parts of WarpDrive: WarpDrive.zip and WarpDriveCore.zip. If you need, I can send you full server package with all needed mods for good work without crashes or "Internal Server Error". Just MP me.
- IC2 wires and machines successfuly updating their status, so player don't see visually broken IC2 wiring and machines glitch.
- No more bug with virtual core intersection, for example when you going to space and then returning down to the previous spot, there was bug that don't allow you to jump because of intersection with previous position of core.
- other small bugfixes
Ermengarde, now all you need to do is to add a random space core somewhere.
If you do that, I will forever respect you...
Anyway, looking forward to this, asteroids look great!
Also, you shouldn't be able to make a spaceship out of say, obsidian, if you need something like obsidian, make a new block that has TNT resistance and make it pretty light, maybe a ore that you can mine on asteroids!

You can build ship of whatever. That gives you ability to make ship, that looks like you want. Also we have custom "Iridium block" that is very resistant to rays or to explosion, but a bit light to resist a drill. Also there is composite stone, that is strong to resist drill, but can be broken and exploded by battle laser emitter.
And we have ShipMod, wich creates smoothly moving entities. We use it to build shuttles and small ships. But large ships we prefer only to warp. In fact it's better approach for large ships for lots of reasons.

Wi will make update for you, so you will be able to change limits. Today developer is unavailable, so just wait.
In our TODO I planned to add config file for mod, what able to change all limitations and other parameters in WarpDrive.

There is no changes in CC API. And only a server side part was updated(AFAIK). Developer will share new build, when he will be online.
