Yaaaaah, I am not too happy about what this block does right now. I am thinking I will just shelve it for a later use. A use for when I see a better need for it.
And so, I will probably jump back to the Vespene Condenser, because it does have a very important use. The Micro Filter was just for Gui practice anyways.
YES, turrets. Three very important things I am going to learn through these turrets called Prototurrets. The first is action based animation. While heavily referencing the Animation API by thehippomaster, I have merged a variation of it to work with my idle animations. It needs a lot of polish though. What did I make this turret do? The turret has a recoil look to the barrel when it attacks.
The most significant part of the Animation API I did not reference was the action visual animation code. I prefer to use my own even though it is a lot harder to manage. Plus I also prefer my equation based animations.
The other two things to learn with Prototurrets are:
~Inventories to equip powerups and accessories
~Mob/Block interaction; make these require a Xel'naga Pylon nearby.
I probably should not post this because this is for a now very distant update called the X-alamon update (the same update with Necromancer Delphox).
I worked on the model at work over the course of a month or so whenever I got little bits of free time. Headcrab Paras will be a separate mob that spawns on its own and after you defeat this zombie mod. If you are not familiar with Zangoose, those red colors are its natural markings and not blood. But it was symbolism for the Pokemon when it was originally designed.
I dread animating this thing. And no, its arms won't be extended like this like Zombies are. That is just how it looks in Techne. Techne renders mobs strangely so as my rotation matrices do not work properly if the parts are at preset angles. I manually set the angle and everything at run time.
Another good example is this outdated screenshot of Snow Sorceress Braixen (the current model in Techne looks more like Zangoose above):
I have absolutely no idea how Pixelmon works to know that. I doubt it because I think they remove all hostile mobs under Minecraft's regular code.

Because I am completely stuck on turrets until I can find help from someone, I will start a new mob! Foxfire Zorua, visually themed after Foxfire Ahri from League of Legends.
The animations are actually pretty good on this guy. I played around with its head bobbing up and down as it runs. Its just a little hard for me to see. What I will make this guy do, I am not sure yet. Still up in the air.
I had someone ask why I put my mobs on tall pillars when I take screen shots/captures like this. I do it to keep the mobs from moving around.
After trying it out myself, I can confirm that the released version of this modification does seem to work in Minecraft 1.7.10 for some reason. I did not test everything but I did not experience any crashes during a brief run.
I tried it out briefly as I set up the new environment dedicated to 1.7.10. So there is that that I am working on. o3o
On a side note, does anyone have any idea why my signature does not show in the forums?

I nervously release a duplicate Alpha 0.5 update dedicated to Minecraft 1.7.10. I was told the 1.7.2 version I released worked for 1.7.10 for some reason but I never fully looked into it.
This release makes me nervous because it felt way, way too easy for an update. Every update since I started in 1.4.7 on this modification has been horribly painful. For this update, I just had to change a single line on the whole modification to get it to run. I ran all my checks on an exported version and did not find any problems. I hope I tested well enough. c.c'
I will ask them. o3o

No, it is not like Pixelmon. I think someone told me they ran my mod with Feed the Beast. I don't know much about that but that is what I was told. Another person said they were using some sort of mod where they could transform into my mobs.
I am actually taking a bit of a vacation from modding right now and playing my mod along side Zelda Sword Skills. It is awesome.

I like the idea of being different. I am an artist who likes to blend multiple ideas together to create new things. Before modding, I did loads of illustrations making Kingdom Hearts Heartless and Nobody pairs of Pokemon. This mod sort of carries on that tradition but with any idea I come across.
I wanted a mod where you yourself fought Pokemon but I did not like the idea of killing normal Pokemon. The twist eases my conscious on fighting them.
Love your mod! I had seen several old showcases of this mod and now I'm just speechless! The animations were amazing! However, is it already SMP/LAN compatible?

Here is the Vespene Condenser animated. Its only purpose is to produce materials/fuels for higher tech items/blocks to come.
As a minor spoiler, two of those high tech blocks will be important for the first expected tamables of the modification when they are finally added.
