Sounds like there is an ID conflict for the cannon. Go into the config and change the value for the cannon's ID. Also, take note the current version of this mod is compatable with 1.5.2 only. A 1.6.2 version should come out today or tomorrow.
I'm not sure what it does, but it came bundled with the Weather and Tornadoes mod.
Oh is there a block called "Cannon" in the flintlock guns mod? I believe they are registered as having the same name, so it is trying to use both id's for the block.
Build 4 is out! SMP support, lead, and healing your soldiers! See the changelog for all of the changes. However, due to my limited worktime, as I am leaving for the last time this summer to go to michigan, I could not finish the cannon so it has been temporarily removed and is planned for Build 5. Apologies again.

No, I realized the problem, I removed the textures and the item for the barrel and the stock, but I forgot to remove the part where I added the texture to the item. long story short, it's trying to add a texture that doesnt exist to a item that doesnt exist.

Have a craftable recipe for a block that creates camps and camps can be captured by players as well. Also, just a suggestion. but recruitment's to the Union or Confederate side via a General or Colonel? Anyway, big fan of your mod, will love to see how this progress's! I am very glad to see that! Camps are on the TODO list, but they are later. Right now I've got soldier nametags, the cannon, a soldier gui, and any bugfixes neccesary before that. However, never fret, the camps will definetly be added!

Yes precisely! Have like the Union coin as a way of hiring soldiers or maybe, if it is easier, be hired under that General. It is obviously a lot to ask, but a man can dream! Very fun mod...I do large scale battles and build forts for the enemy to attack. Exactly what I was looking for in Minecraft! Cheers!

Seems like a great mod so far. I can't wait for camps. If I may suggest a few things, and I mean no racism, but later on down the road could we see more mobs like citizens and slaves (that we can liberate as the Union) and old western town like structures? I love to adventure and it'd be great if we could do quests or something that gives something to strive for in the game.

I could say yes to citizens, but they would live in seperate villages. Great idea though! What would u want about citizens?
About slaves: heres the thing. With a public thing like a mod, i know you dont mean racism, but some people could still be offended. If they were some race that didnt exist on earth, then maybe, but i dont want to offend and/or hurt anybody. Sorry

Sounds like there is an ID conflict for the cannon. Go into the config and change the value for the cannon's ID. Also, take note the current version of this mod is compatable with 1.5.2 only. A 1.6.2 version should come out today or tomorrow.
Could you link where you got the config mod, and what it does? I can't find it anywhere on google.
Oh is there a block called "Cannon" in the flintlock guns mod? I believe they are registered as having the same name, so it is trying to use both id's for the block.

Apparently something happened to the download so the entire zip wasnt there :/
No, I realized the problem, I removed the textures and the item for the barrel and the stock, but I forgot to remove the part where I added the texture to the item. long story short, it's trying to add a texture that doesnt exist to a item that doesnt exist.
I already have a fix, expect it up shortly

I am very glad to see that! Camps are on the TODO list, but they are later. Right now I've got soldier nametags, the cannon, a soldier gui, and any bugfixes neccesary before that. However, never fret, the camps will definetly be added!
As for your suggestion, do you mean if you hire a soldier, you join that side?
I could say yes to citizens, but they would live in seperate villages. Great idea though! What would u want about citizens?
About slaves: heres the thing. With a public thing like a mod, i know you dont mean racism, but some people could still be offended. If they were some race that didnt exist on earth, then maybe, but i dont want to offend and/or hurt anybody. Sorry
