1,435 * 16 = 22,96 that cannot be 23 px because i should make it symmetric. So it is either 22 px that is not very different from mine 24 px or it is 24 px that equals to mine. And it makes no sense to make two gauges with 2 px different in the game where the slab is half-meter high. Also it makes no sense, because i can make any model as i want and edit your Stephenson gauge trains so that they will match 1.5m gauge. Also, calling in standard is kinda annoying to me, because here in Russia we have gauge different from yours.

I would like to assist with modeling for this mod. My taste is from 1920s-1940s steam in Britain and the United States/Canada. I am currently learning techne as well.

I think this mod is quite realistic so far and I don't think that Redstone detectors and high tech rail and things like that would fit in with the mod. its a good idea, but it the real world, you can't have these. Also the mod is set along time ago as is minecraft so if there are going to be signals implemented, they would have to be semaphores not the high tech LED stuff. It would be cool to have automatic railways though, using redstone to set things of and whatever, but I still don't think that detectors should be added.
Modeler/attempted coder here. I'm open to making modern trains, but I'd put them in a seperate download (like DLC) way down the line, to emphasize that they don't really belong in Minecraft. But so long as people want stuff, and I'm capable of providing it, I don't see a reason to exclude them. I'll still put steam engines first (I'm thinking of a "basic pack" for Eastern Europe, Western Europe and North America style trains, all of which include one heavy freight, one light freight, one heavy passenger, one light passenger, and a mountain climber)
Region Runner looks like a real minecraft train though, if they had electricity

I'd prefer making core mod without any trains and some content packs with locomotives/wagons/rail stuff grouped by age and/or country. but firstly, we should finish the core mechanics. It is not close to perfect...
