^Really?! The amount of people waltzing onto this forum and asking "Why hasn't Naiten done anything yet?" or "Is this mod dead?". In answer to future questions related to the latter I suggest you either you close the page and hope for the best next time you come on or if you make a comment similar to the above then once posed just shut down your computer and think about getting a life.
Don't go around jumping people for being concerned. Especially like that.
I'm genuinely wanting to know what's been happening as the twitter account has been empty for a bit. A small life update wouldn't be bad for anyone.
To DcNdrew, I just had to go back 5-6 pages to see anything he said (that being a post in early September) and it seems he's busy with his studies, so yes while he is developing (a rewrite, that is) it'll be slow for the time being. No worries, just a slow pace.

Thank you for your comment. So when will he update?

I've been noticing an unsettling game of whack-a-troll going on here. May I suggest that we refrain from responding to people who's post count is less than 10, especially those who post about updates and/or refuse to use spell-check? Responding to such posts only encourages that type of behavior, and anyone who makes an account just to ask "When will you have more things for me?" isn't the type of person who is prone to contributing on the forums to begin with.
I see some comments about memory leaks on servers. I was thinking of setting this up on my server. Could I get more information on the performance of rails of war over time? It seems to work fine in my SSP testing.
How well the server performs depends mainly on how much RAM you have, and how many locos you have loaded. The majority of my experience with ROW is running it on a 32 bit OS with 32 bit Java. 32 bit Java is limited to a max of 1GB ram, regardless of your system specs. During these instances, I've never had an "out of memory" error occur due to ROW, even running Minecraft for 5 hours straight. Packets tend to leak constantly for ROW, though I find that having larger stock loaded, especially Yers or OVs will cause an increase in leaks. Even so, it doesn't seem to matter, as I've had three Yers, one OV, and 8 stock loaded constantly for an hour and a half and didn't notice any memory problems besides a spammed console. If you have a server that can dedicate more that 1GB of RAM, I can't see you running into too many problems. Also, if you get a server that can run scripts, you could easily set one to re-boot your Minecraft world at a specific time to keep if from running out of memory. Finally, having a truckload of other mods isn't going to be helpful for memory constraints. I'm looking at you 50+ mod people!
I believe he was trying say " I cry every time" but since his post count is 2 I would have never responded, but since you did Dumboldoor I guess I can respond to your post. Lol, but honestly we should do as Don has suggested and not comment on " these " types of post. So this is my last on of these.

I'm seriously starting to suspect some semi-professional trolling going on here. AlcoRail responds to someone? A 2-poster pops up asking for feature requests. I make a post reprimanding that type of behavior? Another 2-poster pops up with more nonsense. While I'm an all-inclusive type of person, I do wish that the forums had a feature that would allow you to only let 10+ posters post to your thread. Until then, we'll just have to ignore them.
Honest question for y'all: How does everyone operate their railway? I don't mean how you build your route, or what it looks like, but how you manage the trains on said routes? I know some model railroading buffs get pretty involved in things like timetables and schedules, so I was curious what y'all do. Do you just leave your locomotives at the stations and use them only when needed? Do you have a central yard and lend out locos to lines? Do you have (or want to have) a scheduled route between towns? Do you have your routes planned on themes? How often do you actually get in a cab and drive one of the things? Just trying to see who puts their locos to use and who puts them in a tunnel so they won't get dirty!
On my joint Pickering Lumber Corp. and West Side Lumber Co. Route, it is just me building everything and setting everything up. There are timetables assigned to each different locomotive, since different locomotives have different jobs, depending on their weight and power.

Some say that his new range of Christmas fragrances includes the great smell of Wednesday.
Just thought I would post some pictures of my new railway. I started with the engine shed, complete with workshop (though yet unfurnished). Also waiting on more point selections (see gap on left siding).
The railway is owned by a small freight company, which also occasionally runs a small passenger service.
Do you still need NBTedit to make your mod work,and if not where is the download link?
Heck no. NBTedit was removed three versions ago. Now you get fancy GUIs:
As for the download link, it's on the ROWAM thread here. I've also made a few tweaks since that version; now you turn with the train as it goes around corners, and chunk loading is automatic.

Hmm ROWAM 5.1 crashes with every load, with other mods and even by itself
Yep. I've had the texture for a while as I coded the platform blocks for ROW, but I didn't want to use it without permission. That's the one thing that makes me a poor modder: no modeling skills.
@lordnexus
"Crash log or it didn't happen."
@Dumboldoor5
I'd repeat to you what I said to lordnexus, but someone else already posted a log. Turns out that I mistakenly put one of ROWAMs classes in a different mod's packages. That's fixed now. As a token of my apology, please accept this fancy clock! Available wherever fine downloads are located.

………I'm done. I'm out.
Hey, Naiten, when is that fun-looking cannon coming out?
cant wait!

Sorry Don. I only post on forums that I like, which so far is only this one.
I think these will make a nice addition to my railway! Texture courtesy of DAYdiecast.
