Looks great...
If it is SMP, Forge, and chests etc can be added to craft then I for one will be using this mod (haven't tested it yet).
Here's a video of it in English:
Just to be clear, I'm talking about the one BeTheMac linked, not my mod.
I have tested it using Forge, and it does not work with chests. They remain in place and stop the aircraft when they make contact. I got to see a chest slide across the floor, personally.

That sounds like a relatively small thing to fix by reverse engineering the source (if it isn't available from the author). I would guess that it adds blocks as my mod does: recursively iterates through all adjacent blocks that are on the approved list, until the size limit is reached. Chests just need to be added to the approved list to allow them to attach, and then some code to allow items to be stored in them.
Not as of yet. From what I've seen so far, I have no reason to believe it would behave any differently, though.
I wasn't thinking it would behave differently, I just wondered if it worked nicely, and if ships moved and collided with landscape/players nicely even in SMP. If it does I might consider altering it to fix chests after this semester I'm doing (about 2 months).

As far as colliding with players nicely, it wasn't doing that even on my single player testing. If I wasn't sitting down, I didn't move with the ship, and if I hit a wall I could pass through and fall out of the ship. This also applied to changing elevation - I was able to pass right through. It wasn't a problem if I was sitting down, but moving around during flight was risky.
I love this mod. I've done a little experimenting and it seems like the only blocks that can't be made part of an airship are lava and water and lava source and water source blocks, and unfortunately pistons, and dispensers can't be made part of an airship either. The num pad 1 and 3 keys control the forward throttle. The num pad 7 and 9 keys control the yaw. The num pad 4 and 5 keys control the horizontal throttle. And the num pad 5 key stops it. I recommend changing the sideways and forward throttle keys to the arrow keys. An airship object's blocks do not behave like individual game objects, you can't add or destroy blocks on your airship. You have to rapidly press the forward and sideways keys in order for it to work well, holding the keys down won't work.

Is work still being continued on this mod to update it? Becuse I need a ship to sail the oceans in search of Pokécube Generations Kyogre. His temple spawns in the ocean and it would be great to have some supplies on a ship instead of a little dingy.

Nobody cares about your Pokemon Thing Nor Should This Need Be Reason to Speed it up on the Modder's Part..
Read the original post. He's not dedicated to this project. He's hoping someone else may pick it up, etc, etc.

First of all, you are an incredibly rude individual. Secondly, I did read the original post and all of the posts up to this page. DO NOT assume I simply post without reading. I took notice he went off and on with working with the mod, I simply wondered if this was an on time. Thirdly, I measly provided the use I was going to use it for, I was not demanding the modder to make it so I can use it. I am not rude. Personally I find it intriguing to know what people use different mods for. Fourthly, if you get THAT upset over a little post I made or anybody else, perhaps you should retire from following this thread? It's people like you who prevent progress being made or knowledge being shared. The world can do without it. Next time you decide to be rude, keep it to yourself. Log off, get off the internet, and go take a walk for the love of mercy.

No, because your kind is the exact reason Zeppelin Creator stopped his project. Did you know that? Stop it before you ilk ruin another one.
Made it work on 1.5.2, now trying to fix it's movement so occlusion work properly, when I finish that i'll try to learn how to rotate it. And, obviously, post the source =)

Have you made your own thread or will you post your progress here? I hope you're continuing it and congrats on making it compatible with 1.5.2.
I adored Zeppelin, so I'm glad to see a mod in the same vein for a more recent version of Minecraft. Seems to be a fair start all in all. After testing the blocks I decided to try and put some tnt under the craft to 'dislodge' it from a dirt block and to my surprise it flew off into the air at an angle. I got up to a height of about 299 before I saved and reloaded, now I have a nifty floating platform entity parked higher than the sky limit. I look forward to what comes in the future; keep up the good work.

Imagine this plus modular boats.
