The only thing this mod could use is a way to buy/sell items that we don't actually have in our inventories. I don't know how you would do this, not easily, maybe with some way of working with NEI... It is kind of a bummer to think that I have to have something in order to buy it.

I am no longer maintaining this mod. I don't like where Minecraft or Forge development is headed. I'm leaving the mod in a buggy state and it requires version updating.
That said, anyone is welcome to use the code. I reject the concepts of intellectual property, copyright and public/commons licensing. So feel free to copy, alter and distribute any of my work; you don't have to ask for permission. Have fun!
Nooo... just saw this mod is no longer supported... Can anyone who sees this, assist with a workaround? I am trying to make it so that when I place a tradebooth, I can either A change ownership to public, so I can access it as well (more of a shop) or B, be able to use trade booths I create... Thank you all!

Can you release up to date source code please for the most release release. I would like to pick up the mods maintenance long enough to attempt a port into 1.8.9 and possibly 1.9.
I also edited the latest source code and I am now able to access the creative booth as a buyer in survival mode.
Hey Robert! I just discovered this mod for the first time and it looks awesome. But also seems to have been left in a buggy state, with the creator saying:

If you've been able to make an updated version that works as it should (or at least, works better than the buggy version), could you please release it to the public, with the source code? I so much want to put this into the mod pack I'm working on for my nephews and me, but I'm not going to add something that'll just be frustrating and screw up our game flow. We need an easy way both to trade items usefully, and to let me set up "vending machines" but be able to use them myself as well.
(I have talked with Mr Crayfish about adding vending machines to his Furniture Mod, and he seemed amenable but really has too much to do right now to get to them in a timely manner. Which is fine. But it'd be great to have a vending-machine-style block setup that offers infinite trade-ins in its own mod, so I don't have to add Christmas Trees and Dishwashers or whatever just to get a decent trading-booth going.)
...actually, come to think of it, maybe turn the Admin trading booths into something that looks more like a pre-electricity vending machine -- or at least a fairly old-style one? (Coin-operated vending machines go back to the days of the Romans, and dispensed holy water. That makes them one machine that doesn't break my immersion in my Medieval Fantasy style of Minecraft.)

My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!

Sadly, it appears aeroc left the same time he made the message leaving the mod up for others to update. Guess you'll have to find the latest source code he left, if it's around.

That's actually pretty nice. Small mods like this are lovely, & a great help to folks who want things that look like they could've been in Minecraft to begin with.

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.
I never could find the answer to that question .... sorry
Read the changelogs people. The admin booth and second slot are only in the latest experimental build.
