Could you add gun mounts/turrets? You could insert any gun, then ride the mount like a (stationary) vehicle and shoot from it. It would be the same as normal shooting, but without recoil.
or just those turrets from borderlands that bandits are in and if you kill just the bandit you can use it
It should only be free in creative mode, if it says 0 bars some how, take a screenshot and I'll try and figure it out.
And as Ameey said, the option to break glass is in the properties. I'm not sure if I'll add leaves or other stuff to that list anytime soon, though you're not the first one who's asked, but we'll see.

Whoops, looks like that's a bug. I'll try and fix it soon. It's not too urgent though since you can still get the eridium for free in creative and you have unlimited ammo while in creative.

If I ever do decide to expand this from guns, I'll probably add skills like the ones from the game, including the turret and stuff for commando. But I'm mainly sticking to what the games do, so not sure about inserting guns or things like that.

Had some free time so did a bit of testing. I noticed a few things:
1. Ammo vendor doesn't take the clip of the weapon into account, but this would be a pain to handle anyway.
2. Creative mode shows ammo prices, even though I can't buy anything. They are greyed out, but you know how much something costs. Can You change the 'Need Eridium' to this for survival?
// Also, grenades are too expensive. Maybe if it was 3 grenades for 3 bars..
3. Vendors don't reset when You log in. They keep the timer and the items.
2 has been noticed, it's a bug, and I'll fix it for the next version. And I realize some of the prices do need tweaking all around.
I'm not sure what you mean by 3, since that's intended. They only reset every in-game day.
And I'm not sure it did 1 in the games, I think you still had to reload after buying your ammo. Can't remember though.

I love the mod but did you ever think of adding villages or even houses that have marauders spawners? That would be really cool.
It's been suggested before, really not sure if I will. I want to do something small, but not yet sure how I'd go about it. I really don't want to do something with mob spawners or such.

In due time, sorry for how long it's been taking, still have been a bit busy lately. Still working on my other projects outside of MC. And in regards to mods, the one year anniversary to my first mod is coming up, so I've got a small update to do for that. My third mod really needs a bug fix update at this point. So those have been coming first in my free time. I definitely want to get 1.0 done though, so it'd take a little bit off my plate.

I have a question about the gun generation. Are the stats and mods for the guns randomly pulled from a list or table and the generated? or are they all preset from a list and then chosen randomly? In other words, is there a list of all the guns you can get, or are the different stats each chosen separately.
Either way, would it be possible to make a Diablo style weapon mod? Where instead of guns, you get swords and spears and armor and stuff, and each drop has randomly generated modifiers.

Yup, completely random. And on the off chance I want to sway certain stats in my favor, I can set stats manually and have it pick the rest based off of those.
But, in regards to my other mod, it should work fine, 1.6.4 didn't change anything too major, and haven't received any incompatibility reports yet.

I absolutely love this mod! Everyone on my servers are always in awe when I tell them that they dont craft weapons, but that they are randomly generated and drop from mobs. Everyone loves to brag about, and trade weapon collections. The only real downside I've found is that it appears corrosive and electric damages completely bypass armor, including quantum armor from ic2 which is kind of problematic haha. But otherwise I love it!

Nope, just install forge in to the server .jar, just like you would with the normal Minecraft .jar, and place the mod in the mods folder. As long as everyone else has Forge and the mod, they should be able to join.

Congratulations, the mod is getting noticed more and more out there. Whether someone likes Ycast or not, they do have a few mil subs. That just means more people will get to see the work You put into this. Guess that also means that much more expectations, so keep it up.

Is there a way to have the shield be its own bar instead of overlaying the original health bar? I experience Z-fighting with the new hearts.
Not at the moment, but that's definitely something I want to do for the next update. HUD has definitely been lacking in some areas. Along with changing the format, I'm probably going to add hud location options in the config, to let you place it where ever you want on the screen.

Just thought I'd give some quick news! The guy behind the Starmade and the Feed the Beast wikis decided to also pick up this mod for a wiki, so check it out here! It's just getting started, so there won't be much to see yet. But once it's all up and running, feel free to contribute!

Yea, I've changed how I render to the GUI in the next version, using the forge hook for gui rendering, rather than rendering during the client-side loop. That should hopefully sort it out, though I haven't experienced the z-fighting myself, and can't be sure..
