I've started to make my own Star Trek mod, so it may be harder for me to get this stuff done. The torpedo model is the model I'm using and I realised I said I'd make you a torpedo model so I sent you mine. I'm also making the Enterprises D & E, 42 and 24 decks respectively, so I don't have as much time to help. If you need models for torpedoes or other things that act like arrows, I can help there, but otherwise my models aren't compatible with 1.8.
To all beta testers: The update is almost complete! But it will use computers from OpenComputers to controll stuff. So if you dont have a basic opencomputers knowlege you should watch some tutorials on youtube(because thats what i did).
The biggest update yet is finally done!!! Here a changelog for all beta testers and people that want to know how the mod gets along:

-Retextured some items
In order: Coil, Advanced raw circuit board, Advanced PCB, Advanced Card base:
-Removed unused Items/blocks: Tin, Copper, and Silicon ore/ingot;Cable
-Changed some recipes
-Added Nitrium Ore/ingot/nugget back
-Added Isolinear chips--Will be used as data storage unit in the future with 2.15 Gigabytes of storage space, can be dyed in all colors
Part of their texture is transparent:
-Added Photon Torpedos
-Added Photon Torped Launcher--Has to be loaded with Photon Torpedos-Is a OpenComputers component-its name as a component is "minetrek_torpedo_launcher"-the function to fire it is "fire()"--example: component.minetrek_torpedo_launcher_fire()
-Added Phaser Bank--Has to be loaded with Phasers-Phasers inside the block last twice as long as when normally used-Is also a OpenComputers component-its name as a component is "minetrek_phaser_bank"-the function to fire it is "fire()--example: component.minetrek_phaser_bank_fire()"
-Added some new sound effects
-Added Deflector--Is a OpenComputers component-Can do nothing, for now
Hello! If you need any models, let me know. I'm experienced with Techne and I also work well with Blender and BDcraft Cubik combo (modelling in Blender, then voxelisation, texturing and final touches in the Cubik). I can make items as well as custom blocks.
If you need an entity model for photon torpedo, I made one in Techne a while back (It was meant as a hat for iChun's hat mod )... Pretty sure it's not what you're looking for, but I'll post it anyway.
(I believe I have already contributed some textures, btw, so I'm not new )

Here's the thing: I don't like making item textures (especially low resolution ones), I prefer making models, however, I made this one. It's 32x, which is bigger than your usual textures, but it looked kinda off in 16x.
Anything else?

Hey there! I worked on the early days of texturing and design but kind of fell inactive in the days in which Numerean fell off the face of the earth. I had NO idea that this would even still be touched. I have read over some of the 15 odd pages since I've been here, and I am so impressed in what you have done. If you need any thoughts or feel like anything hasn't been posted to where you clever guys could find it, I'll look in my old files. If someone somewhat in charge could fill me in on the general direction of the mod now, that would be great. I am blown away by the work done, and so proud of the community. Good job, 89 and gang. Sorry I couldn't of done more over the last yearish.

Good that youre back. Can you do textures, models for blocks (new .json models NOT Techne) or codding? The mods source code is now here: https://github.com/89Mods/MineTrek And the way the mod is going to work now is that player will have to build there own spaceships and have to upgrade their warp drives to move more blocks and supply it with weapon systems, shields, etc.. Everything can be controlled with computers from
OpenComputers (their API is very simple) and everything will need energy to run (RedstoneFlux). You can then go to space(a new dimension).
You can have the latest beta-build if you want.
