Huh I dont know what either of you are talking about. I fixed vehicle stuttering like 2 months ago. There is still server-enforced rubberbanding but I can get rid of that by making it client-enforced. I'll eventually hybridize it to standard MMOFPS network protocol.
I've started class now, though I'm only taking calc2 this term and working IT part time. I'm starting a Zero cosplay for ACen, which will probably net about two weeks delay into t1a lol
With t1a I'm currently working on a crude approximation of the navier-stokes using an advective and dissipative acceleration field with vorticity. Nukes and other particles will be very very very fancy once I'm done with them.
I am actually running out of ideas to throw at Khlorghaal. Do any of you have any good ideas?

nothing complicated plz. I'll listen to simple stuff like new bullet and missile types, or equipment ideas.
But even if its a good idea, anything on a complexity level that requires implementing a whole new system will very likely be rejected even if i like it, id est drones.
Post ideas to keep the thread alive if you want, but its unlikely to see your ideas for any short amount of time if at all.
Make the bullet model more realistic and make it so it doesn't have the shell as well as the bullet even after firing. And if you didn't already, make the shells pop out of the gun. For the bolt action, it happens when you pull back the bolt in the reload period. Also, make shells and bullets look like the proper shell/bullets for their respective gun.
I've made huge progress on guns, they are fully synchronized between client-server so that everything from jam chance to recoil movement is deterministic.
Magazines can be loaded with multiple ammo types in any order.
Guns are an item stack that contain other item stacks, making individual parts have trackable stats.
TODO make guns craftable, look for any fix and lurking bugs so that the version is generally stable.
The next release will be the first playable one and I'm very excited about it.

This is just a simple feature suggestion, perhaps a remote control station for the turrets, one could "link" all your turrets to a single monitor system allowing for gui control for all turrets attached.
To expand on the idea one might even be able to take over targeting control for a turret at remote range from said monitor system.

I've planned a firing mode where all turrets focus on the same target if theyre able to, but this would be possibly more effective, easier to implement, and more awesome.
Turrets are primarily intended for base defense while youre offline.
srsly This could be the only mod that has the potential to make a decent combat vehicle in minecraft!

never mind i got it to work you need to fix alot of bugs like the sentry crashes me and the smg crashes me and it thinks its a sentry thats ticking and theres not alot of finished textures lol this needs to be in 1.6.4 with a textures update

Realistically its impractical to put solar panels in space for power gen exclusively because you use more energy to orbit them than they generate.
