As long as people are listening, I want these two things for the small arms in the next update, In real life bolt action sniper rifles and pump action shotguns keep the empty shell inside, you have to cock it again to eject it, you pretty much have half the code for that, and I want an under powered pistol with a more lenient slowness effect, because you move like a snail even with the SMG, sorry if I sound a liitle bit needy.

With the current system you automatically recock non-automatics after each shot, so its effectively that way right now.
T1A's shotgun is full-auto with a slow rate of fire, not pump action

The slowness effect is unintentional and due to vanilla's item use effect. Itll be awhile before i figure out how to get rid of it.
Ive been thinking of adding a pistol several times, but it would primarily be for cheapness, as with the way minecraft does inventory hotbar theres no reason to not use an SMG as a sidearm.

Getting back to work on my armor mod so you don't look odd wearing diamond armor with a rocket launcher. The juggernaut suit is coming! Oh, by the way, you should seriously have a machine gun. Low accuracy and increased slowness would make up for the fact that it would have a ton of ammo.
Now that I'm actually good at CG i'll have to redo the existing guns, especially the assault rifle and smg

Pistol will fire same ammo as smg and assault rifle. Primary role is to be cheap.
Kalashnikov will have fairly high damage, but will be 1/3 as accurate as assault rifle, but will never jam, ever.

Huh? im not at all affiliated with SDK, nor do I want to be; t1a's guns are already better even in their half broken state
T1A is completely standalone and isn't involved with any other mods at the moment
Not at the moment. What were you wanting one for? Next update will be 1.7.2, so no more blockIDs
You are right there will be no more id conflicts but most mods are still in 1.6.4 so most people loose out on new mods that come out and are only for 1.7.2.
With much regret, I have decided to indefinitely halt development of T1A.
Minecraft is simply a bad platform for what I wish to see, it has been doing nothing but holding me back.
I have started on a game engine resembling a mix of Powder Game, King Arthur's Gold, and Dwarf fortress.
Modding MC has been fun, but the horrors of working with vanilla are too much, and although I may potentially make good ad revenue, it will be nothing compared to making my own game.
Due to a combination of ideas I have, I believe that it will be a very big hit, as it can inherit all the sociopolitical-economical situations I wish to see from T1A, and much more.
I'm building the engine from the ground up with nothing but LWJGL. Now that I have witnessed the horrors of vanilla Minecraft, I will be able to get it very optimized, and I have an idea for how to give it the equivalent flexibility of minecraft mods, using only basic plaintext scripts.
I will reveal more as I get it finished.
I will wait another few weeks before finalizing this decision, but if so I will release T1A as open source and revoke all copyrights. I trust that Flan and Futurecraft will make good use of it.
For all those who are worried about T1A being cancelled, don't. The game I've started on will include everything I've been wanting to do with T1A and even more.
It will be perhaps the first game thats a truly pure sandbox, without limitations of things like recipes.

But... uhh... can't you at least finish the next update? I love the guns, but I am pretty much 99% sure I'll never see the mechs. I don't understand what you mean by "the horrors of working with vanilla", but I don't mod minecraft. I love this mod to death, and the thought of it disappearing is saddening. But if you choose to make a game, I wish you the best of luck.
