Wow, this is actually kinda a good idea.

Here is how I believe it should be done.

You should have to first find the diamonds.

Then, you will need to get the fragment. This will, like you said, be given in 9.

Now, you can plant those, but the growing conditions are hard to achieve.

The light level needs to be the highest possible. I am talking about light right above the growing spot.

Then, growing time. You don't want people starting large farms, so it will need to take a LONG time.

It would also need to only drop 2. Only 2. Chance for only 1 drop.

our idea was planting modified seeds on a new soil block that will be above diamond ore and it will give you the seeds and it will be hard to grow. trust me.
