That's awesome I've never set up a server with a mod installed before, so even I don't know how to do it Just a random question, but if we were to say, make a new type of wood for the trees in Hueco Mundo, would it be easy to switch it out with a world edit or something? Or would you have to go back by hand and replace the trees?
(By the way, other dimensions are still a long ways off, but might as well be prepared)
I can't really give you a strait forward answer since I really don't know myself.
There is this plugin called Terrain Control that will let you replace ever wood block in the world with a different one. But if I have to run the server with forge then Terrain Control probably wont work. I think World Edit might (<--- the key word) work with forge though. So there is a very good possibility that you would have to hand replace all the trees unless you made your own custom Hueco Mundo map generation that uses those new trees.

On-topic: Loaf, I agree with the idea that you release the forge and modloader versions at the same time. Now it'll be less of a pain to install it as I use magic launcher. I don't really like to install modloader since I only use forge mods and they are really easy to install with magic launcher. I simply add the mod to the list and it's installed. With modloader, it won't let me use forge and I also have to manually install it, which means that I have to delete the .minecraft folder to get rid of all the modloader files (for a clean jar), then launch the game and I'll have a fresh non-modded Minecraft instead of a jar with modloader installed. I don't like using backups either, so forge will definitely be helpful.
Thats the internet for you, most people I have met on the internet can turn a simple and harmless argument into a full on attack on their beliefs. All you can hope for it to chat and discuss with the right people who see your points for that they are and discuss them in an appropriate manner, which I am happy to say their are people here who can do that.

If all the rule aren't incorperated into it then its not a real bleach mod meaning that your doing something thats not bleach which is kinda gonna disappoint alot people. if you gonna make a mod or anything about an anime you have to add all the important elements like the soul society and hueco mundo and how the whole asauchi and zanpakuto thing works.

I also understand why you would think that seeing as this Mod differs from the bleach anime that it isn't really worth calling a bleach mod which in a way is true. But the way I see it is your or they are creating a mod based off a Mining/Crafting game which has nothing to do with bleach in practically any way, so to make a mod based off the popular anime Bleach, it is hard to make a Bleach mod that resembles the anime in everyway as the game it is being designed off is not like Bleach. To do that they would pretty much have to re-write everything about minecraft or just go out and make a new game from scratch.

its alright u made ur point, i know i was being harsh, but when u critic something is that not the point ? to point out the flaws without surgar coating it. yeah i may have been rude but at the time i was having a bad day aswell so i apologies. ur right about it being hard to rp with random items,but people forget the challenge is what makes victory all much worth it,also about the coding ive only tested games, recently started to learn to code it is a tough road but to be a "god" of a game or mod you make is pretty awesome, you have to be dedicated tho dont falter.

How is forge different from modloader? I use modloader and have never tried forge and have always wondered as people seem to prefer it.
