Are you... *shudders* are you designing a crafting instrument where you choose the final step of a multi component recipe, and the thing manages the required steps?
I'm gonna make another video on this in a few days, when I have it all set up and ready. The audio will be better this time around because I have a headset with a much better microphone than my laptop's built-in one.
- Added: buttons to the XACT Crafter, so it can encode recipes to blank chips. (Also, hold shift to reveal the CLEAR button).
- Improved: the Craft Pad's button is now more accurate and safe.
- Fix: will no longer send packets unless it's needed. Also, added debug to know if there are unhandled packets (please report them if you get the log message).
- The vanilla workbenches will now be able to keep the items once the GUI is closed. Of course, it comes with a config option, so you can disable that behavior if you don't like it.

Awesome!. Also, why in the Hell would you want to disable awesomeness????
Although I have to submit a suggestion, do with it what you want.
Could you add an option to require the base chips to require being crafted in the Buildcraft assembly table if Buildcraft is installed? This should probably be optional and disabled by default.
I like this mod, I think I'll use it. To me it seems like an upgrade to RP2 PT's, having another buffer row, and 4 recipe slots as opposed to only one.

Ooh, I like this. I'll probably regret it when I go to play, but me no carey. I just love to see mods integrating with each other.

Glad you like it
Regarding your suggestion:
I'd like this mod's tech requirement to be relatively low. Assembly tables are high-end, and that'd prevent people from using it.

There'll be more, Keep in mind this is a mod focused on crafting.

I hadn't seen that the crafting table required chips to be crafted.
The chip recipe conflicts with a recipe in the Craft & Enchant mod which uses paper and iron in a shapeless recipe for one of the scrolls. Maybe you could make the recipe slightly more expensive, say requiring an iron ingot and a gold ingot and a piece of paper, then you could have a cheaper recipe that you can use in the assembly table to save resources later in the game?

I'll probably change the recipe for the chips.
I still have my doubts with making the chips on the assembly table, though.
I think the crafting table in minecraft should let you select from a group of results due to this.
Just throw that idea out to ya Xhamolk_
The way minecraft works... Nevermind, I know how do this.
It's doable. Just need to figure out a way to implement this... because... most of the time, this won't be required.
craft the GraviChest, or the HV Solar Array in less than 5 minutes.
Well i guess i will start closing the Solar Factory...
That is very awesome btw.
It sure can. What you said is about 90% accurate.

It looks awesome! Will add it on the main thread.
Guys, go check out Stylez84's (GamingStylez) Lets Play series: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7z5YOZzcyAxU-Dn5HnSDWjCEWt5wmp97 It's pretty cool.

- Fixed bug with RP2 saw recipes.

I don't want to add something that will not be used.
Fair enough, but I didn't say I wouldn't use it. I would have that enabled were that a config, and there's probably others who would too.

Aww, but it's an assembly table! It makes chips! D:

Yeah, but I was never convinced with the chips on the first place
Once I have all the features for this mod, i'll probably redesign the looks and the in-game concept a bit.
