Man, I'd like to someday see an addon for this mod that integrates the ores from Metallurgy. Are you planning on adding an API?

Well not you, necessarily. I know you're busy. Which is why I asked about an API.
And I just happen to like both mods. Metallurgy scratches my itch to continuously improve and hoard many many different things and AltriaCraft is awesome in that you can make and improve something truly powerful with the materials you horde. Basically all I'm saying is it'd just be neat to craft some new AltriaCraft swords using the rare sparkly ores from Metallurgy.
Maybe someday in the distant future you could add the ability to create custom sword recipes with varying effects using configs?
The API will allow adding recipes to the Bladesmithy or utilizing other GUI blocks in the mod. I just have to rewrite my crafting system to be less derpy. I don't use any of the IRecipe stuffs. I collide things into strings. It's efficient for a singleton mod but absolutely horrendous for APIs and inter-mod compatibility.
I will not be adding any sort of config-based API system. That's just too difficult. So, if you'll want stuff from another mod to interact with AltriaCraft, you'll have to bug the maker of that mod to use the API.
... whenever I release that.

Pretty. Are the Conduits animated/going to be animated? How about Reactors with unique models, or multiblock Reactors? (Question barrage time)
The conduits and reactors will probably glow/pulsate as seen fit. Don't know about any particularly unique models. Multi-block structures might be a thing.

I have been watching the mod for a while now, and I'm waiting for the day when your awesome mod is a) in the same version as Divine RPG (so I'm waiting for that, not yours) and an equivalent of, if not better than, the Swords+ that I can remember ChimneySwift11 doing. Also, when (in how many updates) will I be able to use upgrade trees for something like the Goddess Sword? Wanna be able to craft it into an awesome Final Form... or whatever.
Dunno when any particular content will be available. Stuff will be put in as it's put in.

First thing's first: You aren't trying to use a crafting table, are you?

1: MidchildaCraft is a magi-tech mod I'm working on while I take a breather from AltriaCraft. It's a good way to both clear my head and acquaint myself with the noxious workings of Tile Entities.
2: The primary focus of the mod is a configurable multi-tool called a "Device Core" that can be customized to act as a variety of tools or weapons and can be given modular upgrades and special features. The rest of the mod is the energy system used to power these tools, the reactor blocks to generate said power, and other miscellaneous blocks and tools to also take advantage of said power.
3: I mostly blab about it on IRC ( irc.esper.net #SwordsPlus or #mcp-modding ) and post pictures and video demos to my tumblr (http://starshadesjack.tumblr.com). There won't be a forum post official until the actual first release which isn't particularly near yet.

Also it's kinda unbalanced without a lot of tinkering with the config, from what I've seen.

The Radiance Blades? Things I added before their time. They'll eventually be cool weapons to work towards earning.

Yes it is just the recipes (ones in the forum) are not crafting the actual blades.
