Good Idea, but many other mods already do that. It could cause some bugs with the engine as well.
Sorry about not posting for a while, I've been busy as hell. An update though: Kokonus is getting farther on the Buildings(finally got him some textures) and the initial decision to switch to forge has been cancelled. I started with ModLoader, then started leaning towards Forge, but personnally i find modloader much less complicated.

The thing about this item is that it requires a constant "invisible" block to be placed wherever you walk pretty much a few times every second. What I believe Gristly is saying is that he's afraid that will add some excessive lag and slow the tick rate. Something special like this might be added sometime in the future after a stable 1.0.0 is posted, but it's doubtful that it's an option right now.

I've following you and thinks this is gonna be really great, it will be even better if you had a cigar or something that make you stronger with the magic.
Cigar? Ok... I wasn't planning on making a smoke with magic powers XD. I was planning on adding Incense Candles, which could power magic stuffs, like Incence powers Summoning.

Please read the OP before just asking where the download is. If you read the title, it says PreRelease Coming Soon, also the mod is in the WIP section, which holds unfinished(and sometimes in-progress) mods. Thanks for checking the thread out, but there is no download up yet :P.

Lol it'll probably be up this weekend! Just a prerelease though. I just finished updating it to 1.4.5, adding some features, and setting up MediaFire. Just gotta do a little bit more. This release will have basic tools and armour, and next will have all the decoration blocks.

It still does not work. You only added the texture folder, not the textures themselves.

lol mine too? i dint download the newest version yet ... sine idont have minecraft 1.4.5 currently and im on a public pc XD
forgot it was for 1.4.5 2 downloads well thats quite allot for so little new stuff
Yes, the switching to new downloads was mainly because of some errors I made while uploading
Also, the energy focuses are slightly odd in 0.1, as they are obtainable only in creative mode, but they can only be used if your food bar is depleted. If you want to try em out, get them in creative, then switch gamemode using commands.
