oh soz don't have to answer my question but when do u think you will add a block and item adding things?
Well, I probably won't be making a version for 1.4.2, because ModLoader for 1.4.2 does nothing but crash for me (both in Minecraft and in coding). Hopefully, it will be fixed in 1.4.3, and then hopefully you will be able to keep using the same version of this mod without me having to update it.
About the item adder, I haven't worked on it yet. However, I have finished support for custom blocks (I haven't tested it yet, though, so it probably has bugs), and I'm currently working on the GUI for the block adder. Here's a picture for you:
Update notes:
-Updated to 1.4.4.
-Added support for custom blocks
-Added the block adder block, which does nothing yet.
-Fixed the bug where furnace recipes could output more than one item.
Please note that you cannot add blocks yet. If you could, this would be v0.2. You can decompile the code to see how it works, and create a .dat file by yourself, though. I'll finish the block adder after I update my Renewable Resources Mod.
Just letting you all know, this mod seems to be compatible with 1.4.5. So it doesn't matter whether you use 1.4.4 or 1.4.5, and there is no need for me to update this yet.
Is it for mac? PM me with your reply.. also if it is not do you know any good mac mod makers?
i have a mac to but all mod's are for mac only some are not all you have to do is compress you minecraft.jar delete meta-inf get the version of mod loader that your minecraft is put all the contents of modloader in your .jar file then do as said in the post if the compressing part does not work rename your .jar by right clicking it and click get info then rename it and name it mine craft.jar.zip then unzip it and do the same
What happened to this mod?! Not any updating and not for 1.4.6 D:
Well, the thing is, I made it so that you can add custom blocks (you can't edit them yet, though), and I'm trying to fix a ton of bugs related to them before I release the update. (The update itself actually took less than an hour.) I think I might have fixed all crashing bugs, and right now, I'm trying to fix this annoying bug where they're invisible in item form and another one where using your own images as textures doesn't work. If it takes too long, though, I'll just release the update with the bugs.
After much waiting, this mod has been updated to Minecraft 1.4.6! I really tried to do a lot in this version. Here are the update notes for v0.1.3:
v0.1.3
-Updated to 1.4.6/1.4.7.
-Fixed a TON of bugs and crashes related to custom blocks.
-Added the ability to create and delete custom blocks. However, you cannot edit them yet, so they are only good for decoration for now.
-Added an optional bug fix (edits a base class) to fix furnace recipes giving too little experience if you make the recipe give more than one point.
-Fixed the bug where clicking buttons on a GUI would register too fast.
-Bug: Custom blocks that use your own images have the wrong particle colors. The particle colors come from index 0 of terrain.png.
-Bug: Custom blocks in the inventory are not shaded (they don't look as 3D as they're supposed to).
In addition, I added a section on how to use the block adder how it is now, though I don't feel that it is user-friendly enough. Improvements will come later, though.

Hm, that's odd. Did you follow the installation instructions properly? If you open the minecraft.jar, you should see a folder called blockTextures without having to open up anything else, and inside that folder should be the blockadder.png file. If you don't see the blockTextures folder, just copy it from the download into the jar file. If it is already there and the blockadder.png file is inside, then let me know, and I'll try to find what's wrong.
How do i install it?
Do I need forge or mod loader?
First, you need to install ModLoader. Then when you download this mod, it should come as a zip folder. Unzip it, and then you pretty much follow the instructions I have in the first post. Copy class files in the code folder into the jar file, copy blockTextures folder into jar file, copy pictures in the gui folder into the jar file's gui folder, etc.
When i try to open the recipe adder, it crashes the game.

Hm, that's odd. It seems to be a problem related to Forge. Compatibility with Forge isn't guaranteed, and I'm not sure what I could do to fix this other than to make a Forge-compatible version. However, that might put a lot of work on me; it's already difficult keeping up two different versions of my other mod. If you're willing to, using ModLoader instead should fix this, but then that would mean you can't use other Forge mods.
I installed it (and had other mods)
It crashed, but I didn't install the optional bug fixes.
The installation seemed complicated, and I think I may have done something wrong.
When this is updated, could this be updated to 1.4.7, and could you make it easier to install (as in put in only one file, or one load of files to copy across)
Here is the crash report: (I also have an Xray mod, but that didn't appear)

Simple Mod Maker v0.1.3
That error tends to happen when you have multiple ModLoader mods that together use too many custom textures. What happens is that the terrain.png runs out of space. It seems that you have other mods, so that is probably the case. Nothing that you could do right now other than un-install the mods, but for the next update, I could try to switch the adder blocks to the rendering system the custom blocks use to avoid using sprite indices.
Ok, do you think you could make 2 versions: one with adder thing, and one without.
Well, this mod is pretty much based on the adders. The recipe adder lets you add recipes, the furnace adder lets you add smelting recipes, and the block adder lets you add blocks. I guess you might have to wait. Sorry!
In the meantime, if you decide to keep your other mods, you can uninstall this one by deleting the mod_SimpleModMaker file from your jar. (Or you could manage separate .minecraft folders.)
fact: water is a killer, recent statistics confirmed that 100% of people that drink water die.

First, you need to install ModLoader. Then when you download this mod, it should come as a zip folder. Unzip it, and then you pretty much follow the instructions I have in the first post. Copy class files in the code folder into the jar file, copy blockTextures folder into jar file, copy pictures in the gui folder into the jar file's gui folder, etc.

--- END ERROR REPORT 23cc8c20 ----------
Hm, that's odd.
Unfortunately not. I currently don't know how to do something like that. Also, this mod isn't meant to create class files.
