I have a mod question. I'm trying to make a mod with catapults. What type of code do I use if I want to place the object down, like a minecart? Also how would you make it move? So the basic question is, what code did you use?

Good luck
(hint, it is best to KNOW how to code in java before even attempting a mod...and still...good luck -- Oh, and..BTW..copying others code is WRONG (morally, ethically, often legally)-- use it to learn from, not to just copy/paste/edit)
I'm working on wrapping up hopefully one of the final releases for closed-beta testing (of the mod-rewrite), and should have a public release available soon (for 1.5.2 -- still won't be updating to 1.6 for ahwhile). Only a couple weeks later than I would have liked, but unfortunately real-life tends to get in the way at the most inconvenient of moments....and I guess later is better than never
I'll be doing an NEI plugin shortly before/after public release (unsure at the moment), and will start porting after I am sure that the 1.5.2 public release is stable (really don't want to have to back-port any bugfixes/etc..as I and many others will be _playing_ 1.5.2 for awhile yet).
can i well sugest thing? if i can would it be posible to make the soders adn engenears to get out of the seage ingeans when a hostile gets close and starts hiting them with them unable to fight back do to being inside the seage ingean. Also how do you use the comand baton/ well nots whats it for and wahts it used for but how do you give the comands such as patroll (just an exemple im just wondering how you give the comands that are on the wiki) with it.

I could totally see this as being used for war servers with fortresses. 20 attacking players, 20 defending players. defending side is given 5 minutes to build a wall around their fortress with as 6 stacks of cobblestone each person. and the attacking side has those 5 minutes to strategically place 6 different catapults. "And so it begins...."
Good Idea,But I Think 5 min Is Too Much Make It Like 3 And A Half Min To make is Harder On the defenders.
hello, author mode http://pastebin.com/MvwqXKjN
it is a bug or just not compatible with some sort of mod?
tell me how to fix this?
Thanks for the bug report.
As near as I can tell that cause is crashed by another mod causing things to generate where they should not (village structures, too low in the world... ). However, your crash log has provided me some new information on it, and I should be able to have it resolved in the next update.
no
edit:
let me rephrase that:
can you read? I have no plans to update the current mod to 1.6. This has been stated multiple times.
The new mod will be out when it is ready, and even when I do port to 1.6, will have NOTHING to do with horses.
Sure thing -- check your PM's, I'll be sending you a link, and inviting you to the group conversation.

Looking forward to it.
read what i posted
Does it say it does?
Not yet, nor ever (for the current version).
However, the rewrite is nearly done, should have a 1.5.2 (public) release this weekend, and porting to 1.6 shortly after.

Please see the wiki for information -- _most_ of it is there, but it is still being updated.
I will work on porting this to MC 1.6 over the next couple of weeks, as well as continued bugfixes and other updates.
