I didn't realize that people we're still visiting this mod. The other developer and I have both been super busy with rl jobs, social lives, etc and haven't had time to work on the mods. Neither of us were... skilled in terms of art/design, and very few people that volunteered to help stayed for very long. We had big plans for this mod, and I feel it's a shame to let it die, so maybe we'll try and redo it all soon enough.
If you want to see some mobs in action, we gave rights for Leo and the Hammerhead to the creator of the Orespawn mod, and afaik they're ingame.

If you're going to try re-engineering this mod, J, I could offer trying out to make models. I'm probably not the best out there but I'd like to offer if you'd like help. I don't know how to animate yet (MCAnimater isn't being nice) nor do I know how to code, but if you'd like a modeler I'm willing for a shot.
I do have a few models on Techne, which isn't being nice right now so I can't update the Birch dragon (or upload other models). But I do have finished images on the Dragon Keeper WIP mod.

You know, I personally have never tried modeling, but I like your idea. I make animations (as in videos) with Mineimator, and very rarely Blender. I do have a little coding experience. Good luck!
This mod looks great, based on the pictures. I wish someone (or you) continued it. maybe in 1.7 or 1.8. This could have been the best mod for minecraft.

hello i know that u might not work on this mod anymoree but plz do and maybe update it to 1.7.10 and update all the models bc the banshee isnt there and imassuming u gave the leonopteryx model to the orespawn mod which is ok but no pandora planet or na'vi or banshee or the black tiger thing or the proelemurse or the deer creatures its /missing a lot of creatures ill ask the orespawn mod to add those
