The Ores are really really common. I took me no longer than 5 minutes to gather enough to be able to make storage blocks.

Also i found a bug with the crystals. If a crystal cluster has more than one crystal in it and you break it it'll yield the appropriate amount. But if you replace one of these crystals, it'll place a cluster of the same size as the original. ie. There is a two sized crystal cluster which is break, and it gives me 2 crystals. I can now place these two crystals but instead of placing a single crystal i place a crystal cluster with the same amount as the one i got the crystal item from. You might wanna fix this xD

Ill tone down the gen on the xychorium. Also the crystals lol yeah. I left the debug line in that would reault in 2crystals. Ill fix both tomorrow

I'm working on a mod spotlight if you don't mind. It's a two-part piece since I didn't want to have one really long one.

And as for the brick blocks you have, I love the colors (as you'll find out)

Ok Updated the mods so that crystals wont spawn a cluster of 2 on placement. Also added in my mod info file for Forge ModLoader.

Keep up the good work guys! I have lots planned still!

Ill be working on the amounts generated soon. For that though I will need a list of each of the testers collection of resources and estimated time playing :D.

I'm probably going to lower the amount generated, but I know some recipes later on will require the storage blocks.

I will tell you that all of the expansions will have at least one change to crystal nature. Though Machines Expansion is currently the only one worked on right now. But I still don't think they are valid materials for making pickaxes or shovels...

Makes just about as much sense as the crafting table having a saw, hammer and pliers, yet it can still put things together (With what?!)

It will be a vital part of the mod in future updates, and that is why I am working so hard on them (THEY ARE SO CLOSE TO DONE B))

Edit: Ok yeah they were pulling from the wrong place. Ill update in half an hour with a couple bug fixes

Updated the mod again. Forgot to change the version number though.... Oh well
Items should now appear correctly and blast resistance has been somewhat fixed.
Gems will no longer be in VAST amounts per chunk, but they will still drop 3-5 per block

• Added Aluminum (forgot the storage block)
• Fixed Block bug not moving any of my blocks by pistons (Movement is now possible! )
• Actually changed the version number in game.
• Getting Closer guys a few more bug fixes and additions and then I will start coding machines. (What could the engineering table possibly do?!)

You may test if you'd like but please let me know of the amount of resources you collect with an estimated time. This will help me ensure that the mod is fun and exciting for later. It is close I know!

Jumped in the first cave I found in creative, just to take a look at ore gen. Not sure what the gen is based on but I found Aluminum at around the same consistency as Iron. Red, black and green ores were fairly common, also about the same consistency, I was seeing at least one type of ore in the same dispersion as coal. Very few blue ores until lower depths, and Yellow ores were fairly common above about 50. Only saw maybe 5 crystals in the cave I was looking through.

As a rough estimate I could probably have collected a stack of each gem, a stack of Aluminum and 5-10 crystals.

As for bugs? All raw ores (gathered through Silk Touch for example) smelt into Aluminum apparently, illustrated HERE. Other than that everything seems in order so far.

I have good news and bad news!

• The Good news: The mod is SMP Compatible now.
• The Bad news: I am figuring out how to have a nice auto-build system. Which means no smp til that is finished

As soon as that is done I will release the final Alpha version of the World Mod and move on from there.

Machines are getting closer guys. I'm just as excited awesome of you as I want some of the neat toys I have planned


Oh and...........I have to tweak my engineering table GUI a little... so it will be less trouble, but it looks awesome SO FAR!

Alright cool! Thanks. He also helped me with mine. He pretty much did most of it and I just tweaked it a little.
But none the less The downloads are currently down. I am working on a wiki and I should have the downloads up fairly shortly.

Alright guys, work on the Wiki has been coming along, and now the download links are up. I will continue my work tomorrow.
