I try my best to ensure that all work put into this mod is quality Work. Which means that this takes a vast majority of my time. Though I do not expect donations, I would greatly appreciate them as it would help me to make this mod even better. Currently I am using tools that you can download for free to make the textures, and models, but I'd like to see if I can get some better software.

I hope to have this mod out as soon as I can, but please keep in mind, quality takes time.
EDIT: I am not choosing Testers anymore until more development has been completed. 1.3 will be a bear to my mod, but I am confident that it will not be so bad.
I might add some additional features to the crystals. but the idea is that I'm trying o keep one kind of natural crystal.
I could make it so you can mix my planned gems to the crystals coloring them, and possibly adding affects but no promises
Just Updated some pictures and added a progress log at the bottom of my post, check back for more progress updates. Suggestions re still being taken if you'd like to submit one.
Added most if not all of my naturally spawning Blocks! Hooray!
Alpha version of Core and World will not be done today, and I may be busy tomorrow. However, I don't want to rush this as I'd rather not release something (even the alpha) that isn't ready for testing. I know of some bugs I need to fix and features I want to add: I.E. utilize the ore dictionary and actually generate the blocks.
In most terms the Core and World without an expansion will probably be useless, but testing is still needed. Coding is running smoothly and a little faster than I anticipated.
Let me know what you guys think and any suggestions you might have.
Awesome mod! it looks great and has alot of potential, I love your somewhat futuristic style that kind of reminds me of tron
the engineering table model and texture are really good as well as everything else. I'd love to see what you have planned for future versions and I'd be happy to help by alpha/beta testing (possibly even with coding etc if I acquired the skills, but its not likely)
PS: is the xy in xychronium and xycraft pronounced zy like in XYlophone?
Edit: i came up with some ideas but since we/i dont know what the "Style" of the mod really is yet they might be out of place
for a power and item transport possibility there could be laser transmission, the lasers are power and emit from some machine and are recieved by another, power loss over distance is higher unless you have some sort of laser containment pipes used, and there would be laser-guided minecarts that follow the beam, a regular lasercart you can ride and a chest lasercart that stores and transports items.
thats one of the only ideas i have so far, sorry if its completely out of place in the mod XD

Honestly I think it's better that your trying to do this on your own and being original, thats what makes certain mods stand out against others
And no problem about the release, stuff (specifically coding) takes time, my biggest pet peeve is when people beg/demand/etc for modders to update (suggesting ideas and helpful criticism are mostly good though)
So take your time, don't rush, just keep up the good work
By all means man, take your time and work through it. I don't think we're in any rush to get into it, although I'm sure that everyone is feeling a bit of that "kid on Christmas morning" feeling.
I like what I see in the pics so far, everything looks really good, and very identifiable from all the other ore blocks. I'd definitely like to see what else you have in store.
Got a little sidetracked in researching World Gen. Hehe I found it easier to make an Auto Id Resolver in the config File. See "Progress" for more info ^

EDIT: this actually reminds me of thaumcraft 2 a little bit, azanor releasing only little teasers and keeping everything else secret, and the mod in question looks awesome
Release a pretty laid back alpha. Dont be surprised at how little there is to do in it now. Ill be adding more later. I spent most of the day on crystal gen and thought that while Im doing the rest you guys can test the code that is there

Very little in terms of content will be released in alpha. Basically I want you to play through collecting letting me know of the speed at which you have everything so i can correctly balance the rest, as well as look for any bugs or crashes that occur. I can then build off of the core and world gen products to make machines.
Machines will be the holder of the Engineering Table
