Due to the latest "snapshot" update by Mojang and Jeb, I am sad to say that this mod has been officially terminated because the new update, which is to be implemented in Minecraft 1.3, has taken many of the future, and current, ideas of Ores'n'More.
I apologize for much confusion and disappointment. It sorrows me greatly to have such a great endeavor killed by an update.
If anyone were to have donated, I would have payed them back.
Good luck with this, I'll be watching the topic, excited for release. After reading your replies on Reddit, you seem like a great guy! I'm glad your taking so many suggestions into consideration. I'm sure I and the community thank you. Good luck with this, and if you need a someone to test it, don't hesitate to send me a message! Good luck.

Stay tuned! I have decided after proper Bronze Smelting and Weaponry, it'll be released and constantly updated with feedback from users like you!
Hey guys! I made a forum signature for this mod after testing it. I will provide the link when CrabCow wants to put it in the topic, but you can see it down there!
hello this is capybaraluver from reddit with some questions and ideas.
what are the coins used for?
do you plan on adding platinum or titanium?
about that ore amazonite if you add it can you put it those above ground caves that have vines in them?
sulphur would be cool as a dust when activated by copper wire can light on fire.
will copper wire be able to be placed vertical?
will radio-actives leave dangerous radiation when mined?
will the fantasy ore mythiril be added or are you making a more modernish mod?
will any ores be in the nether?
or even in the end?
any plans for your own made up ores?
will anvil's or some high gear crafting table?
any new weapon types planed?
will meteorite craters be added?
You have good ideas! I think I may be able to answer a few of your questions:
Coins will be used as a trading system in SSP.
Platinum will probably be added, titanium is a good idea.
Amazonite sounds interesting, I don't know about it being above ground, as that is a little out of the ordinary.
I love that idea. And when they stop receiving power, they turn back into sulphur. The fire could look different, maybe a blue/green, and would not spread.
Sounds cool. And upside-down.
Yes, radiation is planned.
The mod is as factual as possible.
Possibly.
Possibly.
Most ores are realistic.
No plans for that yet.
Yes, many bronze weapons are going to be implemented.
Hey, SombreroBanana from reddit. I already told you to change the copper texture, but I've got a lot more ideas. Here are some of them:
First off, I think you should make obsidian craftable into tools/armor. It would be used to collect rarer resources in this mod.
Onyx. A high-tier gem only mine-able with obsidian pick. It can be crafted with gold, silver, diamonds, and bronze to make a throne.
Jars. Crafted with 5 glass blocks in the shape of a boat, with three iron ingots on top. When placed, you can put stuff in them which would be displayed. Can hold radioactive elements without the radioactivity harming you.
Forge. Crafted from three furnaces on the bottom of the crafting table, with iron blocks filling the rest except the middle slot. When opened, has 2 slots for fuel, and 3 slots for ore (takes 2 coal to smelt 24 ore instead of 16 ore. Higher efficiency).
Fossil block, which when mined drops 3-9 bones and occasionally drops broken pottery or coins.
Copper and tin can be smelted into bars, which can then be put in 2 of the 3 ore slots in a forge to be smelted into bronze.
Silver and gold can be made into decorative wall scones. Can hold torches.
Sorry, this is all I could think of for now. I'm drawing a blank, but if I think of more I'll PM you on here.

Coins are used for economical purposes. In SMP, you can trade with players. It is being debated if SSP will have a villager shop system.
Platinum and Titanium? Yes, both are planned and confirmed to be added soon. Platinum is being worked on now.
Amazonite might be a rare ore very similar to diamond found only underground in Jungle biomes. I have no plans for it yet.
Sulfur may or may not be added and will replace sand in the TNT recipe if added.
Copper wire will be used for extending charge carry distances. I have no plans on if it can go vertical.
Radioactive ores will damage you VERY slowly when nearby. This may be used to a professional player's advantage.
Mithril is confirmed to be added, just for another in-between material of Iron and Diamond.
The Nether is confirmed to have future ores.
No idea of ores for The End, however, I have seen the idea pop up.
Yes, I plan to make up a few ores myself.
Anvils will be like crafting benches but are needed for metal items. I may just make it an item that MUST be combined with all metal objects crafted, minus a few exceptions.
New weapon types are confirmed for within the next week. Battle-axes and Maces are confirmed.
Meteorite Craters are currently unplanned and may/may not be added, I am unsure.
Hope this answered all of your questions! If you have more, feel free to ask.

Jars, maybe.
Forge: A Blast Furnace is going to be this, don't worry.
Fossil block: Confirmed on Reddit.
Copper and Tin and used for Bronze now.
Silver and Gold for decor may/may not be implemented.
Interesting video. I already know this stuff, but it will be great reference if I ever forget! Thank you!

I fail to understand your tone of voice. Are you upset?

Maybe, I do have image-editing skills as an artist, but if I get stumped, I may turn to you and see if you can help.

you could add cinnabar the ore used to make mercury.
cobalt would also be cool as well as nickel, ziosite and azurite.
