Because you no longer need modloader at all. If you have forge, modloader is not needed. Installing modloader only messes things up.
And also, no I am not switching back to modloader. The update is done, and that is that. They are the ones who need to update their mods.

Could you make it so the eggs layed by the queen hatch naturaly? And give the hives a conection to the surface where xeno's and facehuggers from the hive can come out of hive sometimes. Also can aniamals be facehugged?
-the queen should be a bit larger and the head wider
-the aliens could have darker textures
-at some knows coordinates (like x=0 y=0) the derelict ship from alien could spawn once per world

Umm,i was thinking of a more "choosable" way to become an alien...
what about, when a new world is generated, a (maybe a mod?) chest will spawn somewhere underground, and it will have a facehugger egg in it, egg would be like an item, you could right click it on the ground, it would pop out from your inventory and a fagehugger egg (entity) would be placed on the ground, it would need a torch or any other source of light so it would hatch, after 2-4 days (ingame) it would hatch a baby facehugger, after 2-3 days the facehugger turns to an adult facehugger, and when you right click the facehugger, it would show a gui, which would have two options (maybe more?) : |Harvest| and |Exit| (duh). Harvest would pretty much place the facehugger on your face, and you would be set into sleeping mode, like in a bed, after sleeping you would spawn on top of your body, as a baby alien, and would have an option to devour your own corpse! (YAY!), then the growing stuff! when you would turn to adult, you would have an option to harvest testificates, for more alien allies! (ACHIEVEMENTS?). After you would have atleast 30+ harvestings, a gui would pop up with an option : "Turn to a Queen", and would have a ability to control aliens!
For the predators, im thinking of : when you spawn, 100 blocks away from you a temple would spawn, where the bio mask would be! also, it would need some aliens in it, for some competition.
after you put your bio mask thing on your helmet slot, it stays forever, also vanishes (so you could put some armor on) but you still be seen with it, after the bio mask, a elite predator with his clan would spawn (in a base or something perhaps?), there you could earn the trust of predators, and trade with them!
for the alien chest thing, maybe a organic chest? (for the facehugger egg)

I like these Ideas, but I'm not the worlds best modder. I do not know how to make advanced things like this... I would need another better modder to help, for things like this to be available in the mod. GUI's are not the type of thing that I am good at coding, world generation isn't either.

The Alien queen will be for sure better in the next update, textures would have been darker but my texturer argued with me about it, I had an option for HD textures a few weeks ago, but removed it until I release the mod. Not sure about the other ideas, especially since Prometheus is an entirely different movie.
