So, we use this word feathery a lot. But I honestly don't get how it looks feathery. It looks more leathery like a dragon's wing should to me, not feathery. But that's just my perspective.

Truthfully i am a much bigger fan of the original textures then the newer ones. the original fit much better with minecraft look and feel
I KNOW! I actually don't like 64x64 or anything really over 16x16 because it loses that Minecraft fell and touch. I like the simplicity of things. By the way, will mobs be able to be despawned if I use the command /gamerule do mobSpawning false?

They won't despawn immediately, they simply stop spawning.

Im fine with textures over 16x16 as long as the color scheme still fits with minecraft, Sphax Purebdcraft texture pack is a good example of larger textures that doesn't loose touch with the look and feel of MC(in my opinion). But back to the Mod at hand, I will be releasing a resource pack that will contain the old egg, dragon, and brick textures for those who like the old ones better, this pack might contain more vanilla looking dragon armor if I can get the time to redo them. As far as your question goes I have no idea what happens when you change that gamerule, I assume it just stops the spawn and does nothing to any creature already in the world.
P.S. I will probably get the resource pack out with the next release.
For 0.9, the Brom's Sword and/or random spawning hostile castles. Or maybe an update that allows companions from specific NPCs such asBromRoranNasuadaElvaSolembumAngela(easiest one to do, just change the look of a witch and make it a friendly)It's very possible. Think differently!

This mod takes place hundreds of years after the book series. Therefore you will never see Brom, Roran, Nasuada, Elva, and possibly Angela or Solembum (they live longer than normal humans)

I hope that there ARE some mentions and like clues and stuff, like let's say you find Brisingr but it's just a regular sword until you do something. I say, add Achievements! But I don't know if it would matter but Achievements that are not in the Esc menu, I never check those anyway, maybe like an Achievement book or scroll or something if you press a key like B or something

Well yea that. I want to make up my own storyline using the mod but I'd need CustomNPC's so I PROBABLY won't need the mobs from here so that's why I wanted to know if I can despawn them, of course I would need the dragons though but I don't think they spawn unless from an egg right?

Yippee but does that mean the old textures can't be changed in the config? I like all the textures now, as in the classic ones so let's say you add a new item, will there be a classic texture for it or it would be the new one?
One problem with the swords: They should NOT be able to be crafted, as the swords are elf-made. Maybe there should be an NPC who will sell it or be in a building with the forge or crafting able needed to craft the weapons. Will there be unique dragons and NPCs, such as Brom, Oromis and Glaedr (with his missing leg).
Perhaps Galbatorix and Derza as bosses.
Anyway, great job on this! I hope this mod goes far, as I am currently reading Eldest. My friend reccommended it, and I have yet to put the book down and go to sleep most nights!
Good luck!

The mod takes place centuries after the events of the fourth (but apparently not final) book in the series, and thus will not include <spoilers>, <spoilers>, or <spoilers>, especially since <spoilers> and <spoilers> are both <spoilers> by that time...
I would explain further, but you know, spoilers...
Keep reading, and keep enjoying this truly epic tale!!!

If I may add something though, Roran's Hammer. Is it not in the mod?

HECK NO! I like that you can craft it. It takes place hundreds of years after, who's to say that other people couldn't learn to craft it O.o I think it should be able to be crafted, just so it also matches with Minecraft. After all, it IS still a MINECRAFT mod.
Same for me. More leathery than feathery for me.

I signed up just to stalk this mod. I love it very much! Bravo! It's great!

Sorry for the blackness, SECRET TIME!
Ooh, suspense!

All that actually told me, was that Tak broke something, probably an arm, and iamshortman is a really bad speller. No offense iamshortman.
