There is zero chance of this being SMP at the moment, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Humans would likely be as they are now, dwarves mine faster and are slightly stronger, Urgals are ugly, etc.
With the massive number of changes in 1.3 i may have to write it as smp. but that i will have too see when it comes out. for now i just plan on finishing ssp within the next couple of weeks. ether way i would love to write a multilayer for this mod(i wonder if it would be easier to do as sproutcraft).

Problem with spoutcraft though.... not everyone uses Spout :/

Well, we dunno. What would you suggest? I'm thinking a key you hold down, or something.
all you need to do is to change the models a bit now you can't just have all the dragons look similar comon man^^ make them a bit distinct, like the brown dragon could be bigger and it's front boddy part goes a bit more "up" to give him a proud stance, maybe give him some "rocky" features to make him look tough XD and such and such, with some imaginations you will be able to make every single dragon (colour) a bit different to reflect some variations, oh and do some thing a bit similar for the dragon rider sword

i think that would be really cool but doing so would be very hard because if i remember correctly the model used (and more importantly the animation that goes with it) is hard to change and would require a lot of coding(a lot). i think that is one of those things needed to be put on the end of the todo list.

All that would just be Techne, other than adjusting animations. Texture maps and therefore textures would need to be changed to an extent though.

Well i just tested out the alpha download, while i haven't explored ALL of it I do like the way the dragon mobs act(for instance how theres an animation for floating in the air instead of just stopping there) all the textures are nice i didn't look into the iron furnace yet but im getting around to it, i did however go to the end to see if i could fight a dragon from a dragons back(i knew i already could but i wanted to pit dragon against dragon) and it was perhaps the best experience iv'e had with a mod in a longggg time. great job i will most definitely keep up with this mod. i would however like a way to tell it to stay in 1 place.
i did hit 1 bug i found if you have i think i had 3 or 4 spawned dragons on the map you cant spawn anymore i don't know if that's intentional or not.
i do have a question when you add a way to legitly get dragon eggs will they hatch when you find them or can you take them home with you and have it hatch after like say 3 days so you have time to build a home for it.

That's likely what we'll do. This isn't just our project, it's OUR project. The second our being YOU GUYS. We want to make this mod as well as we can to adapt the Eragon series into Minecraft, and if you guys don't like something, we'll probly go and change it based off your suggestions. Unless you don't give any reasons or suggestions as to WHY you don't like them.
Thanks for the epic support dude! I think that the 3-4 dragon limit might be a bug, but I'll check with our coder. And, when you find the egg, you first need to pick it up, then place it. After about 2-3 minecraft days, it'll hatch (methinks :3)

ya. just a thought, we shall see what it takes to do a multilayer after we finish ssp. which i am working on as we speak
