When the endermen were introduced to the game, I viewed them as a waste. I would prefer minecraft scale the core of the game down and introduce extra content as mods or external packs. This would allow us each to customize our own play experience. A few other things frustrated me as well, wooden axes, diamond armor, etc. So I have worked on this mod to allow me to customize how I want to play Minecraft.
This does not mean if you load this mod that you will no have these things. By default, this mod has everything set the same as vanilla Minecraft. You can select each feature you want to change. There are currently over 75 options, many with multiple values.
Captioning, a feature I was working on for the next version of the mod, has been moved to it's own mod. [url=http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1608642-/]Caption API[/url]. I felt captioning was too important a feature to be tied into this mod and risk compatibility issues.

Do you think you are ever going to update this one? I really enjoyed it when playing with other monster mods so i could just play with that mob and would love to see it in 1.3.1!
I am planning to update this, I use it regularly to remove endermen, I did not like their addition to the game overly much. I am just trying to work out some of the kinks as to why it did not always work.

Updated to 1.3.2, same options as the 1.3.1 version. I am working on a server version of MOAPI, which will allow me to port this mod to the server as well. What other options would people like to see in this mod?

As of 1.4.2, this mod does not work for me. I prohibit hostile and peaceful spawns, and monsters spawn anyway, even when a world is generated after I set the setttings.
I will look into this a bit more, it's been a known issue for a while that if you disable all spawns, somehow Minecraft still spawns creatures, almost like the setting resets itself if you try to remove everything.

Did you copy the mod files into the minecraft jar file? Use something like MultiMC/Magic Launcher? Or put the mod in the mods folder? Also is this for 0.3 or 0.4 of the mod?

I downloaded your latest mod version yesterday, I'm running latest FML for 1.4 and am using MultiMC (I correctly placed the mod in the "mod file" category). I could post the entire error message, but I don't know how to tag spoilers and it seems clear that there were no conflicts or error messages up to the point that I copied.

Updated to 0.5 to kill any creatures that manage to spawn even though they are not supposed to. Also added several other creatures to the spawn options.
Added a poll to determine what new features people might like added. I included the things I plan to add, but will focus on the features people want most first.

I downloaded your latest mod version yesterday, I'm running latest FML for 1.4 and am using MultiMC (I correctly placed the mod in the "mod file" category). I could post the entire error message, but I don't know how to tag spoilers and it seems clear that there were no conflicts or error messages up to the point that I copied.
one question though: is it Forge compatible?
