but the mod is nice but i still have fall damage on the moon not for jumping just up and down but jumping in a hole

I'm not saying I'm going to implement everything you say but I surely want to take input in consideration (as long as the quality stays guaranteed)

Of course, everything that used to be in there will be in there now

Perhaps, if I am able to spend some more hours on doing the rest, a '"preview release" consisting of the old moon mod ready for 1.2.3 might be released somewhere in the next 2 weeks

You could add in a config file and the players can choose aliens, e.g. Or see if you can have Global Mod Options like Mo' Creatures has where you can choose spawn freq.

Hmm, jumping in a hole from a really big height (but not just mc height) should cause some damage because there still is gravity,but it should be the same damage from a much higher jump, so I'll check that out

I have thought about the torches/fire/furnaces etc working but the only way to do that is to hardcode everything which destroys almost every compatibility left but I am looking into fixes for this, perhaps a "scanner" that scans placed blocks and removes invalid ones, or something like that

I am wondering... Should I add more planets and fun stuff and space ships and blocks etc

or should I focus on the moon and make moon biomes, transport vehicles etc.

Sorry, it's only there for 1.2.3. You could try and backup your minecraft.jar and then update to 1.2.4 (just by naming your 1.2.3 one minecraftBACKUP.jar or something similar, and then forcing update)

Well, that would be best, I suppose it could be possible to make an 'oxygen block' that, when placed, checks if a building is encapsulated by blocks or something

Well here's how I see you can do it.
Focus on the moon for another month...
Then focus on another planet such as Pluto since it is smaller then the moon and would be easy...
You could also make Charon(Plutos moon) a dimension, since Charon is a bit bigger then Pluto.

That seems legit, I think I'll focus on the moon for the next few weeks (despite having test week etc :P) and add moon biomes(!), vehicles and more advanced base options instead of just the tent, perhaps a block that you have to place every 10 blocks in your tent to produce oxygen or something similar so that you can make your own moon tents with no need for oxygen.

Well, you can see all of the recipes etc in the yogscast video, but you need to put together a lot of buckets of milk (rightclick cow with bucket) and craft them in a square. Then make a portal like the nether portal and activate it by clicking the bottom 2 blocks (one of them) with the sonic screwdriver.

I know this sounds confusing when you haven't played the mod before so I'll make recipes as fast as possible, for now you have to make do with the video

I know, that's because the rocket building stuff was hard-coded (which means very deeply into the source, by an API that was used before) and couldnt be translated to 1.2.4 without changing a lot of base files so I have to write that bot again
