UGH, can you plz make a demo release because my friend mike really REALLY wants this and he said he'd subscribe to you if you'd release a DEMO release.
he BC-304, also known as the Daedalus-class warship, is a class of deep space carrier built by the Tau'ri, and the most advanced series of vessels in the Tau'ri fleet capable of rivaling even the most powerful alien spaceships. As of 2009, six Daedalus-class warships have been built. These 304s are the Daedalus, Odyssey, Korolev, Apollo, Sun Tzu, and George Hammond. Five are known to be in active service. All but two are operated by the United States Air Force. One 304, the Korolev, was given to the Russian Federation, and subsequently lost in a battle with the Ori, while another 304, the Sun Tzu, is operated by the Chinese Government, and when last heard of, was crippled and evacuated.
Read Full Details on the Daedalus Class Vessels in The Spoiler:
Although referred to as "sister ships" to the BC-303 Prometheus, the 304s differ significantly in their design and technology. While the Prometheus was originally built with reverse-engineered Goa'uld technology and salvaged equipment such as the Transportation rings, the 304s incorporated Asgard technology in their original design. All 304 class ships are equipped with Asgard shields, sensors and transporters, as well as intergalactic hyperdrive technology that allow the ships to carry supplies to Atlantis in the Pegasus galaxy.
However, the Asgard initially refused to install any of their weapons on the 304s, changing their minds only when faced with their extinction as a species. In 2007, they equipped Earth's flagship, the Odyssey, with their most advanced technology, including plasma beam weapons. Later, the Daedalus and Apollo were also updated with these weapons. It is assumed that all future ships will be provided with these weapons as well, including the George Hammond which was completed in 2009 and is placed under the command of Colonel Samantha Carter. It later took part in the defense of Icarus Base and other Lucian Alliance conflicts.
The 304's are designed as a battle-cruiser and a deep-space cruiser. It is a battle cruiser because of it's fire power and effectiveness in ship-to-ship combat. For example, it has enough power to pierce some of the most advanced shielding known as well as take 14 hits from an Ori energy beam weapon before the shield fails. It is also a deep-space cruiser because of its ability to travel at intergalactic speeds for great distances. For example, the Daedalus is able to make a way from the Milky Way to Pegasus in about two weeks, even without a ZPM
The 304s boast a large amount of incredibly advanced technology, most of which came from the Asgard, which helps make 304s a formidable craft, capable of rivaling the spaceships of most races. In contrast to its predecessor, the BC-303, the new Daedalus-class ships had several significant advantages in that the more advanced alien technologies were integrated into the original design rather than added on afterwards.

Sensors
The 304s feature a Long-range transmitter, located with a series of other communications-related equipment, including Asgard sensors, at the top-rear port section of the ship. There are also sensors located on the nose section of the ship. These sensors are highly advanced as they can scan and pinpoint life signs from far away, and are also what allows the Asgard transporters to lock on to an object accurately.
Shields
Energy shields are the primary defense technology used by 304s. The technology was shared by the Asgard with the Tau'ri after their contributions in defeating the Replicators, and so the Earth-designed Daedalus-class warships are protected by Asgard shields, giving them a great advantage over the space-faring races of both the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies.
Asgard shields create an elliptical "bubble" around a spaceship that absorbs and diffuses the energy from weapons fire. The shields will gradually weaken under sustained fire, rather quickly if the attack is of sufficient force, allowing energy from attacks to bleed through and cause damage to the ship. Although additional energy can be allocated to the shield bubble to reinforce it, the only way for a ship to ultimately survive a continual attack is to withdraw and give the shields time to recharge.
Asgard transporters
The Asgard first allowed the Tau'ri access to a very basic form of their beaming technology, which they included on the Prometheus during a refit around 2003. In 2005, however, during the Tau'ri-Wraith war, the Asgard provided Earth's first Daedalus-class ship with a much more advanced form of beaming technology. However, they placed a series of fail-safes into the transporters to prevent the humans from using the technology offensively. Despite this, the Daedalus used its transporters to beam Nuclear warheads onto several Wraith Hive ships (with begrudging help from an Asgard), destroying them. The Wraith, however, were able to develop jamming codes that prevented the transporters from obtaining a lock, making the transporters all but useless against them. Shields have also proven to be just effective as jamming devices. The Korolev failed to get a clear lock as they tried to beam nuclear warheads onto Ori warships. The transporters are unable to work through either the 304's shields or the enemy ship's shields, shown when the Odyssey was only able to beam Doctor Daniel Jackson out of an Ori warship when its shields were lowered and when the Daedalus had to lower its shields to beam up Lieutenant Colonel John Sheppard and Ronon Dex. If the ship is in the middle of a battle, this is inadvisable as lowering the shields renders the 304 vunerable for a few seconds while it uses the transporter.
Asgard computer core
The Asgard computer core is a database of all the knowledge of the Asgard. The computer core includes a knowledge base of the entire Asgard history, interactive holograms of every Asgard, time dilation technology, and an independent power source. These features likely only scratch the surface of the device's full capability. The Asgard gave this to the Tau'ri as a gift and to help them fight the Ori. The Asgard installed it on the Odyssey in 2007 before committing mass-suicide.
It is unknown whether the computer core was installed on any other Daedalus-class ship. Although that seems unlikely, the Phoenix had a room which contained an Asgard computer core in an alternate timeline.
Cloak
The Daedalus-class ship Odyssey also acquired a very effective cloaking device of Ancient design from Dr. Daniel Jackson, who at the time possessed Ancient knowledge. At first, Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter had trouble getting the ship to decloak. However, they were eventually able to cloak and decloak the ship by simply pressing a few buttons. It is unknown if any of the other Daedalus-class ships possess this ability. Jackson claimed that "having a Zero Point Module helps" so it's possible he utilized the ZPM on the ship in some manner while creating its cloak, or that it was not as efficient as those on other ships and required levels of power only a ZPM could provide. He probably adjusted the shields in some way, similar to the Ancient Puddle Jumpers.
Transportation rings
In addition to the Asgard transporters the 304s also possesses Transportation rings as a means for transportation. Transportation rings are used to transport people or objects over short distances, from ship to ship, or even to a nearby planet. Transportation rings were originally designed by the Ancients, but have since been used by a wide variety of races. The BC-303, the Prometheus, was the first Tau'ri ship to use Transportation rings, but the technology has since been passed on to the Daedalus-class ships. It is unknown whether the Tau'ri steal Transportation rings from other races, like the Goa'uld, or if they construct them themselves but the former is more likely. As, like the Goa'uld, the ship's computer has no control over the rings, likely because they are often considered a security risk when enemies wish to board the ship as the crew have no way to shut the rings off.
Heads up display
A Heads up display can be pulled up on the center window of a 304's bridge. The transparent display overlays icons on to real-world objects that can be seen through the window, such as various enemy ships and other points of interest. Much like the HUD of a Puddle Jumper, the view from the bridge remains unobstructed, meaning pilots and crew can still see the battlefield, and even weapons fire dissipating the shield before them.
Subspace Capacitor (Alternate reality)
The Subspace capacitor was a power generating system created by a parallel version of the Atlantis expedition. It could reach a "near-Zero Point Module" level of energy, though it is unknown what the term 'near' exactly was. Like a ZPM, it draws energy from Subspace. Since it does not draw from a limited, contained area of subspace, but instead draws energy from our subspace time a Subspace capacitor is a renewable energy source. However, there is a limit on how much power can be stored and made available at one time.
Engines
The 304s feature multiple means of maneuverability, notably 3 engines: Maneuvering thrusters, the Sublight drive and the Asgard hyperdrive. An alternate version of the Daedalus was equipped with a fourth drive known as the Alternate reality drive, allowing the ship to travel to alternate realities.
Maneuvering thrusters
Maneuvering thrusters are one of three methods of propulsion on 304s. While maneuvering thrusters are by far the slowest form of propulsion, they are able to make slight adjustments to a ship's trajectory and to help gain momentum. Reverse thrust is also possible, which is in place to help a ship slow down in the frictionless environment of space.
Sublight engines
The 304s have 2 main rocket boosters at the rear of the ship, which are their Sublight engines. While several smaller rocket engines also exist at the rear, these engines provide the greatest thrust, capable of moving the ship at speeds around half the speed of light.
Hyperdrive
The Tau'ri were first given Asgard hyperdrive technology as thanks for their help in fighting the Replicators, which are now standard on all 304s. However, Earth ships use considerably weaker power sources when compared to Asgard vessels, making the drives not being able to function at their true capacity. However, shortly prior to their extinction, the Asgard installed an advanced power core aboard the Odyssey. It is unclear whether this new power core actually improved the Odyssey's performance, as the ship was already using a Zero Point Module at that point. However, even under powered, these hyperdrives are one of the fastest when compared to those of most space-faring races.
Alternate reality drive (Alternate reality)
The drive was designed to transport matter through the Matter bridge to access parallel universes. It is powered by a Subspace capacitor, which provides near-Zero Point Module levels of energy. The device has to be encased in a shielded area of the ship, as it gives off radiation. Despite its ability of inter-universal travel, the ship would remain in the same relative position after every jump. The drive had a different, yet similar function as the Quantum Mirror. Dr. Rodney McKay theorized that if the drive were destroyed by C-4, it may tear a hole in the fabric of space/time large enough to destroy a solar system.
Deceleration Thrusters
Deceleration thrusters are used to slow a 304 down. They are situated on the front side of the large rectangular hyperdrive engine sections and are mostly used to land.
ScreenShots will only be posted once the exterior of the 304 Class vessels are completed
When the X-303 entered active service, it took the designation "BC-303" and the name Prometheus. It was the first, and for a long time, only deep-space battle-cruiser constructed by the Tau'ri. In this capacity, it served as the flagship of the Tau'ri fleet under the control of the Office of Homeworld Security. Though plans were made to construct an entire fleet of BC-303s, the introduction of the Daedalus-class battle-cruisers rendered the craft obsolete, leaving the Prometheus as the sole vessel in its class. It played a major role in both the Tau'ri-Goa'uld war and Ori crusade until the Prometheus was destroyed in a battle over Tegalus in 2006. The BC-303 class has since been out of service (or has it?)

As with the X-303 the BC-303 was built using both Earth-based and alien technology, mostly of Asgard or Goa'uld origin.

Communications
Prometheus had a variety of means to communicate within and between ships. There were traditional telephones located in corridors and rooms throughout the ship for intra-ship communications. There was also the capacity to integrate the system to wireless radio headsets. The ship also has an intercom system for ship wide messages. It could be activated on the bridge by one of the stations and could also be triggered directly from the commander's chair.
The Prometheus was equipped for both audio and video communications outside the ship as well. Despite communications satellites being down, Prometheus was able to establish a secure video transmission directly to the Oval Office, which displayed on monitors above the main window/viewer display. A side viewer also displayed video communications that integrated with alien ships, such as the Asgard and Goa'uld.
The ship could also broadcast audio-only messages on multiple frequencies, and included the additional feature of translating the broadcast into Goa'uld. The communications, however, couldn't penetrate Ancient shielding, as was evidenced upon the discovery of the caves of Avalon in the Glastonbury Tor. The Prometheus had two communications arrays symmetrically placed on the rear section of the ship.
Inertial Dampeners and Artificial Gravity
The Prometheus had Inertial dampeners and Artificial gravity technology, which gave its passengers a smooth ride, much like that taken within a fast elevator. When Julia Donovan's filming crew turned out to be rogue NID agents who stole the ship, Major Samantha Carter was trapped on a level which didn't have the artificial gravity systems in place and she experienced zero gravity when the ship was taken into space.
Shields
The BC-303 utilized shields of Asgard origin, which were donated to them in 2003 as thanks for the help the Tau'ri had provided the Asgard in their conflict against the Replicators. Asgard shielding was first equipped to the Prometheus and eventually the Daedalus-class, allowing the Tau'ri to better defend themselves. These shields are among the most advanced shields known to exist within the known universe.
Asgard transporters
The 303 has Asgard transporters, given to the Tau'ri by the Asgard. Lacking the advanced Asgard sensors to accompany the technology, the 303 needs a locator beacon in order to lock on and transport an object. The transporter is shown capable of moving an entire skyscraper.
Escape pods
The BC-303 is also known to possess an unknown number of escape pods in case of emergency. When the Prometheus encountered an Unidentified spaceship, the members of an Unknown race that inhabited the vessel, beamed the entire crew of the Prometheus aboard the vessel, save Major Samantha Carter. After she awoke, she discovered that the escape pods of the ship had been jettisoned.
Landing Gear
The Prometheus had a tripodal landing gear system with one leg in the front of the ship and two in the rear. The slender mid-section of the ship had no support. The ship needed to engage the deceleration thrusters in order to obtain a stationary point above the planet surface before landing. Most likely, the anti-gravity pod assisted in the landing process. The landing gear operated just like that on a jet airplane and could be retracted back into the body of the ship.
Hyperdrive
The BC-303 initially used hyperdrive technology reversed engineered from salvaged Goa'uld vessels. However, the relatively primitive state of the technology and the use of highly unstable Naquadria as a power source made interstellar travel very problematic during the vessel's trials.
The Asgard helped to improve the reliability of the hyperdrive and eventually installed engines of their own design as a thanks for the human help in the fight against the Replicators.
The precise speed of a vessel equipped with an Asgard hyperdrive appears to vary based on the ship's available power: the Prometheus needed months to travel between the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies, whereas the Daedalus made the trip in 18 days (or 4 days, using a Zero Point Module).
Anti-Gravity Pod
The Anti-Gravity Pod was housed in the lower portion of the rear of the ship, as labeled on the Venting Sequence display. The Prometheus most likely used this feature in entering and exiting its subterranean bay on Earth, in softening an off-world landing, and in hovering or maintaining a stationary position above the ground as it did in Antarctica in order to protect SG-1's Tel'tak during Anubis's attack.
Deceleration Thrusters
Declaration thrusters were used to slow the Prometheus down. They were situated on the front side of the large rectangular hyperdrive engine sections and were seen being used by SG-1 when they landed on the planet Hala.
Sublight Engines
The BC-303 possess relatively powerful sublight engines, which are installed on the Prometheus and the Daedalus-class ships. The sublight engines on the Prometheus were capable of accelerating to 110,000 miles per second, over half the speed of light.
Sublight engines have varying output which is controlled through the ship's helm. One such output was referred to as "emergency thrust" and was used when the Prometheus left Antarctica to meet Anubis's fleet in Earth's orbit. The second time this output was referred to was when the ship needed to get away from the segments of a Supergate which were on collision courses with the ship near the planet Kallana.
ScreenShots will only be posted once the exterior of the 303 Class vessels are completed

I cant say I have always wanted a mod like this, because I never thought something like this could work with minecraft. It looks great, cant wait to try it.
sorry for the lack of Daily Reports and othe updates. My ankle has been really killing me the past week and its been hard for me to get the motivation to get a video recorded.
Thats not the only reason I haevnt recorded anything. Since last week I have had a wisdom tooth coming in and my god is it coming in a bad way. Is impacted into my check so I may need to have surgury to get it removed. I can barely open my mouth to drink anything it hurts that bad so thats why i havent been able to record any audio commentary.
If my mouth doesnt start feeling better soon or I have to goto the dentist I will probably be shifting back to the old format of the Daily Reports (2 minute showing footage with background music playing) until I am able to do commentary again.
Just wanted to let you guys know what is up, but dont worry development is still going on. We finished the world generation for one planet and our new coder ben has started work on another really amazing planet that I think you guys will love.
Also one of our trial developers has begun work on the Mod Division Launcher which will be able to select which Mod Division project you want to play (Doctor Who Client Mod, Stargate Chevron 7 and our new minor project Harry Potters Wizardly World Client Mod.) I think you guys will really like the launcher when you see it. I worked on some basic concepts for them (not sure youd want to see them)

Ok so this is a quick "State of everything" post to save me some time! There is no video regarding DWCM in this daily report. This is more of a post that lets yall know what is going on with all the iKingsSGC and Mod Division Projects.
So right now my microphone has gone "missing" since new years eve and I cant record audio to give you all informational posts. So I decided to shake things up a bit and do a series of cinematic videos that will feature a specific smart entity or feature each video. The first of which i am working on is a new cinematic video featuring the Weeping Angels (they have secret features you wont find out about until you play the game.)
Now lets discuss a little bit about the Mod Division team. So I have got some new trial developers working on projects....or rather about to work on their first assignments once I pack them all up. We also have a new trial modeler who I assigned to model a classic/modern DW monster.
Moving on to stuff about planets. I have gotten an update to a really cool planet. I dont want to tell you waht the planet until it is complete enough to show you. World gen on this planet is almsot complete and let me tell you.......you wont want to be alone in the dark while visiting this planet.
I also have a new trail developer working on Shileghleh, the leprechaun homeplanet in the system of legends. Got some cool and fun new systems that tie into world generation and entities on this planet.
Final topic of interes for DWCM, I have another trial dev who will begin work on the new sonic screwdriver gui. This GUI is probably one of the most intriguing systems I have concepted for DWCM...well Idk about that but it certainly is the most user interactive GUI I have come up with.Once that is done I will do a daily report.
Now lets move on to the iKingsSGC MOd Division Launcher. Progress on the launcher is moving along All that is left to do on the launcher is our custom RSS engine and the iKingsSGC Forums account login. We are having issues parsing 2 of the RSS feeds for a reason that is still....well its not reall making any sense. The dev working on the launcher, Eddie has mid-terms the next week and a half so he has to study and development on the launcher will resume once he finishe his exams.
Moving onto Daily Reports. I really want to get them posted Bi-daily...but in order to do that I need my microphone back or buy a new one. If I cant find the 100$ mic I already own I will be forced to have to buy a new one which really sucks.
On another point of interest for daily reports is that I am thinking of renaming them ot iKings Daily Prophet......no reason really except to unite themes of the iKingsSGC, in this case a little tribute to our flagshop Server.
Speaking of Hogwarts RP Experience, work is going great on it, except for the fact that DotEfekts is on vacation at his dads house and cant compile the new versions of the plugins I sent him lol. So I need to wait till he gets back home and is able to fix the decompiling issues and compile the new versions. Once that is done DotEfekts will begin working on the new plugins, which are amazingly cool and probably the best concepts I have come up with.....ive still got to do the artwork for those plugins though..yay. Construction is still underwway and most of it requires the additional plugins for me to move any further with that.
I have also been working on several new animations and graphics. Take a look at the first new Hogwarts RP Experience Intro/Trailer animation that is styled after the Daily Prophet Newspaper

yay second anniversary i have been following this forum and umm dang nothing yet .... how big of a mod is this suppose to be and i hope you guys will finish this mod soon(before 2014) or at least pre alpha or else there will be a few unhappy people and if you drag it longer and longer people will slowly give up and you might as well tell them "check this forum out in (input your guess on how long you think it will take to close completion this mod here)" or something if this mod going to take longer than the end of the year i segest you do something like idk attract all the attention to the doctor who mod? so people don't get disappointed on the slow progress of this mode because doctor who mod is definitely having a bigger boom than here. and please say what things you have completed instead of what ideas there are unless... nvm that part my head hurts from lack of sleep of the past week
thats all i got to say before i study for my exams i'll check this out later in about two more months :)unless i am the only one not paying attention to the doctor who mod much then my apologies

Dont worry about it lol. I actually typed up a quite indepth response at the time and I checked this thread yesterday and noticed it didnt post i went "oh well"
Ill just run through a little bit about what I wrote previously.
This project is still indeed in production however it is a lower priority than DWCM and the iKingsSGC servers to me because the demand is very low for it. However I have recently gotten 2 developers to work on SGC7 and we will begin active code development on SGC7 within the next month. We are a bit hesitant to start major code on SGC7 due to the 1.5 update being around the corner. If Mojang doesnt release 1.5 and the so called "Modding API" wihtin the next 2 or 3 weeks we will just keep working with 1.4.7 for SGC7.
Pretty much the only thing left to do in regards to this project is the code. All the models, art work, textures and plans are already laid out just waiting to be coded
I totally forgot about the iKings Random Development Ramblings lol.....well I guess that I shall post something here to make up for that shouldnt I? However because I dont want to make it too easy....I shall not tell you what it is of.
I will tell you however that this system will be used in both Doctor Who Client Mod and Stargate Chevron 7 planets and let me tell you when I say that this system....will have you staring at the sky as if you were staring at the Aurora Borealis.
I will probably turn this post into a daily report describing what exactly is going on but for now while we are still refining this system (lotsa math involved) I will leave you with these images.
It would be nice if you stuck the stuff in spoilers or something, its a pain to navigate the links.
I change the contents of the threads often and I refuse to have to update the threads i have on 6 other minecraft modding sites every time. So the iKIngsSGC Forums are the most convenient place for everything to be located for me.
Yes it will be finished, I believe theiking1 said on the forums (don't quote me on this) that they are waiting for the Minecraft Mod API to come out before doing the code for the Stargate Mod.
What is going on today continues on the iKings Daily Report: Model Showcase with episode #3of the highly requested series of Daily Reports. This episode will cover a few Models from Stargate Chevron 7 Client Mod. You guys also asked to see more from SGC7 so I did my best to provide a seemingly entertaining video...hah...yeah right...like any of my videos are entertaining
For those of you who have not seen any previous episodes these versions of the iKings Daily Report will pop up every now and again and showcase about 3 to 5 different models in the video, these models can be from any of the iKingsSGC Mod Division projects.

I was wondering if you would be able to put up a beta version for us to try on planet minecraft, similar to the doctor who client mod you created. Even if just for a short amount of time. This way we can all share this experience and also report here for bugs you may not have noticed.
Sorry, please read our pre-release policy.
As with the X-303 the BC-303 was built using both Earth-based and alien technology, mostly of Asgard or Goa'uld origin.
ScreenShots will only be posted once the exterior of the 303 Class vessels are completed

Take a look at the first new Hogwarts RP Experience Intro/Trailer animation that is styled after the Daily Prophet Newspaper
thats all i got to say before i study for my exams i'll check this out later in about two more months :)unless i am the only one not paying attention to the doctor who mod much then my apologies
