Awesome! I was wanting compatibility with Morph. Do you think you could make a 1.6.4 version of r40? I'm using a modpack that uses 1.6.4, and a lot of people still use it. Also I've noticed an issue, while playing as a dragon with morph, you don't get the flight ability, and in creative when you fly you have no flying animation. Not sure if this is a problem with Morph or Dragon Mounts. Leaning towards Morph because it worked similar with Mo' Creatures, you can probably still fix it, though.
Unfortunately, that would be a lot of work. There are quite big changes in the structure of Forge and Minecraft between 1.6 and 1.7.
The config file is called DragonMounts.cfg, there you should find it.
Also, after changing my development environment a bit, I'm now able to upload my mods as separate repositories on GitHub. So if you have an account there and want to contribute:

Let me break it down a bit...
In the config folder (the one that is at %appdata% .minecraft, speaking from a microsoft OS perspective.) find the file DragonMounts.cfg. Down the bottom of this very short config file is an option to turn eggs in chest to true or false. Default will be false.
Remember to open the file in a text based program, also do not tell windows to remember that option.
I tried opening it with WinRAR but now it says its damaged or something
Open it using whatever text program you want, like wordpad or notepad. Go into either of those and select open (open is probably in the file tab), then select DragonMounts.cfg and change "false" at the end of EggsInChests to "true". It can't be opened with WinRAR.
Unfortunately, that would be a lot of work. There are quite big changes in the structure of Forge and Minecraft between 1.6 and 1.7.
Hm, I see. What if you simply added the new features to the previous 1.6.4 version? Would that work? I've never had any experience coding, so forgive me if I'm wrong.

In case you didn't know, this is a mod, not a map. If you need help installing mods, just ask.
somehow when i tried opening it with winRAR the files icon changed into the winRAR icon
I'll make a guide for you later. I might edit this post later with the guide, so check back. But I might make a completely new post. Unless someone else does before I do.

You told windows to remember the option... never let windows remember, its bad at it anyway.
How did you get winrar on the recommended? You would have to have sought that out... windows will suggest programs based on what the file extension is. As a FYI, text based programs are the ones Scottnov mentioned. Winrar is a file compression/archiving system.
If the file is not able to be rolled back with a restore previous version... just delete the file and run minecraft. It will generate a new one. If all your config files are locked to winrar, you need to clear the set default program for that file extension.
On the OP, it appears that Barracuda was able to zoom out further than you normally can with F5. How is this done?
There's a mod called Shoulder Surfing that allows you to adjust the third-person camera. One of the options is to zoom out. I use it in my modpack, and it looks incredible riding a Dragon at full zoom.
Awesome egg textures, I like that alot, I know this is to soon to ask becuz u just released this update but when do u think new dragon breeds will b released.

They will appear in the config file in your .minecraft. Edit "EggsInChests" from false to true (but don't change anything else).
What do you mean, exactly? You can hatch them from dragon eggs, and depending on where you hatch them they turn out different.

That'll happen. Just manually open it with a text program.

I used some reflection code to change a private variable. In case you're looking for the code, it's this class.
Oh, alright. I'll definitely give it a try.
Thanks!
