Wait, how is 1.0.0 not stable? In my experiences, I haven't seen anything that could be described as "unstable".
there are issues with some people's graphics cards not rendering somethings.
That wasnt the only reason we are still building on 1.8.1 , its due to the fact that everyone whos working on the mod atm is still on 1.8.1
then theres the fact that it would take too long to update to 1.0.0 right now since all the code for the mod is split into itty bitty segments and slowly being put to gether as new code is brought in for new features.
Dont worry though, when we reach a release stage it will be on whatever minecraft version is current as well as 1.8.1 as many people (including myself) are not fond of 1.0.0 or the full game they call "minecraft"
Some of you guys sound really childish, IKing is the glue holding the team together, he has a website for this mod, has been co-ordinating the team and has helped in many other ways posted on the first page. He has managed to keep working at his duties despite many difficulties he has been going through (Surgery if you haven't read the other pages). All I have to say. Keep up the good work team! :smile.gif:
Did someone call the dev team hotline?! Something about Iking holding us together... Well I had something else that I was going to leak, however that got vetoed. This is actually the marvelous work of our modeler Con_Number_1.

Just because I said Cant go long without that naked silurians schlong or... cant work a bit without nibbling on that silurians tit didnt mean to deface the model.... but its damn hilarious none the less.
You really should use the Gamemode API for all this. I'd call it "Doctor Who" mode, but maybe you, since you actually know anything about Doctor Who, could think up a better name. With the Gamemode API, you can put a mod into a game mode like Survival, Creative, and Hardcore, so you can choose whether to use a mod or not during world creation, and, when playing a world which is not in this mode, the mod will be inactive, and you can do it all without having to switch around the .jar all the time.
And you're using the "Slowness" potion effect for being turned to stone, right? Because I assumed so. If you're not, you should. You should also use the "Mining Fatigue" potion effect because it makes you mine slower, and it'd be a shame to let that perfectly-functional-but-not-implemented-in-vanilla potion effect go to waste. That'd really fit the whole "being turned to stone" thing.
